Orchestra concert tonight for Nick. It was at Bountiful High. I sat in the back so I couldn't get many pics They are just like last times pics The only pictures I got were of Nick in the isle putting his cello down. He didn't cooperate. His friend said why is that lady taking pictures of me,? Nick said "I don't know, thats weird."...what? I was taking a pic of Nick
Concert was fabulous. It is like 40 minutes long. After the concert, Nick says lets go and if he stops to talk to a cute girl, I am to keep walking. Ok. He stopped to talk to a boy, so I didn't know what my instructions were, so I also kept walking.
He is getting in the car way before I even got there. THEN we go to Holiday for a drink after and a kid from football is there. Nick eagerly volunteers to go and get me my drink. I'm all about that. I asked him why he was so eager...well, its kind of embarrassing because my friends moms are not 50.

Electromagnet.
Jack had to make an electromagnet for school for his forces project. Here it is. Good thing I'm a science teacher and had all the stuff. Of course did this at 10:30 at night. Gotta get better at doing it sooner.

Headstone
Saturday Nick had football in Heriman. They won this game, so they are in the playoffs next week. I'm not very good at action shots because they are too far away for my phone. So we just get huddle or sideline pics.
Then we went to Mark's house to pick him up and headed to Spanish Fork Cemetary. My dad's headstone had been delivered so we wanted to check it out.
I tried to get Marlena to lay down and see if the plot fits for her but she didn't like that idea. I think the headstone turned out great. It looks nice.
Then headed to Barry's for lunch. That's the same place we went after the cemetery at the funeral. It was still good today. I think we will eat there from now on when we cemetery. although it isn't open on Sunday...when we usually visit.
Checked out an antique store while we were there. Marlena wanted to know if her old sewing machine was worth anything.
here is one for sale like hers for 249.00. That's not really very much.
Or silverware that she has.

Similar silverware for 69.00. I don't think she will get rich if she sells her old stuff.
fun day spending time with Mark and his family.

I did it
I took Friday October 12, 2018 off because I was headed to Cedar City for Andrew and his Mr. SUU and homecoming events. But before that, I headed over to the Davis County Court house and filed for Divorce. Yep, I did it. I paid the 336.00 and submitted my Petition for divorce. I also submitted Chili Willi's paperwork that says he has been served the paperwork so I don't have to find him to have him served. I don't think Chili wants me to know where he is. He is big into not letting people know stuff like that.
So, now he has 21 days to respond to the petition. I suppose I need to tell him I filed so he knows the 21 days are counting down. I'm sure he will find a way to NOT respond within 21 days and drag this out.
Here I am at the Court Complex. I was very proud of myself that I actually did it.
Then I had to go to the bank and pay off another bill. Proud that I did that too.
I wore my "Just Say Moe" shirt for courage.I got that shirt from my friend Lynne a long time ago since that was my Nickname. You can see the nice shirt sort of...
Here is a blast from the past...here's where it all started.
UPDATE: I emailed him, and here's his response
I was never willing to work on it...right

Mr.. SUU
Andrew tried out for Mr. SUU at Southern Utah Univeresity and he won! So cool. His duties were for homecoming week.
Michelle said we had to go down to see him. Absolutely we did. We got a hotel room, and reserved a rental car. Michelle the aunt, Marlena the Grandma, Maureen the mom, and Jack the brother all went to cheer him on. We pulled out of Michelle's house and about an hour later, Marti calls and asks if we had Jack's shoes. Um Nope we didn't. He left his shoes. First stop, Famous Footwear and we got him some new Vans.
Here's the map of the functions so we checked in where we got T shirts and some popcorn and SUU swag. It was a bit over rated on the SWAG. We went to the Red Riot which was up on the quad and they had Prizes, and a band and free food. We sat outside on our lawn chairs. He had to announce the winners of some contest before the band.
Here he is getting ready for the announcing. The other one is MISS SUU. He was the judge of that contest as one of his duties. That was on Monday.
The concert was Abba Mania and it was fabulous! I don't think many of the college kids knew any of their songs but I sure did. It was super fun.It was outside and kindof cold.
Got the Panda for dinner. Andrew didn't join us. He was at some Alumni thing.
Saturday morning, was the Homecoming parade. It started at 10:00 so we got there around 9:00 of course.
Here we are waiting for the parade It was a bit chilly but really a nice morning.
The parade ended right after us. And we would see the parade people walking back. I couldn't figure out why Andrew never walked back. Well, shortly realized why. He was on ANOTHER truck with his Fraternity buds. He had his yoyo too.
Andrew decided he could go to lunch with us before his Alumni lunch. He had to set up for his Alumni lunch they were hosting for the Alumni of SigmaChi (I think). so we picked him up and decided to go to Panda again. It was his vote.
He had to leave to go to his luncheon, so we drove up to Cedar Breaks. It was a beautiful drive. We were having a great time, until Jack decided to throw up. We had to pull over fast. We finally got there and there was snow. It as super beautiful.

Jack must have felt better since he played in the snow. We couldn't go on a hike because they were snowy. I didn't want to get wet either.
That night we went to the SUU Homecoming game. Andrew was introduced at Half time.
This was the best pic I could get on the Jumbo tron since we were so far away.
Sunday morning Andrew decided we could go grocery shopping and get some food before we left. So $179.00 later at Walmart we were ready to go eat. We went to Charlie's BBQ which was excellent. We dropped off Andrew and met his roommates. They were super nice and came over to meet me in the parking lot. He seems to be in good hands. Super fun to see my Andrew in his element. He was so handsome. Glad that we went to see him. He was a great Mr. SUU.
