Hogle Zoo and a Good Bye to Jimmie

Brooke's visit finally came to an end.  She wanted to go to Hogle Zoo on the last day.  Brooke met Mark around 4:30 ...we had connections to get in...

Nick and I didn't get there until later because Nick had to work...of course the only day he worked his full shift...

Then she wanted to go to Cafe Rio our favorite place.  I did have 20.00 in rewards so that took the sting away..

Abi took Nick home and I took Brooke to the Airport.  So hard to send her to live in Florida. She is doing what she wants to do and so that part makes me happy.  I just miss her so much.

Abi visits for a few weeks

Abi came to visit from St. George for a while.  First stop, Grandma's house and clean out her fridge.

Random

I decided I needed some time to think and talk to God so I found this trailhead I have been wanting to hike. I am not a hiker but chanced it.  Here I am.  I walked this trail for like 40 minutes. It is good to get out in Nature and talk to God.

Here I am going somewhere.  Not sure where, but those are my new glasses.

Andrew had a new workout for me.  He said I didn't need to hire a trainer so Brooke and I did it. It is 500 M on the rowing machine, and then resting for two minues, then again for 5 cycles.  I thought I am going to die.  But I didn't so far.  

I did have this to show for it though.  

Brooke and I also got Pedicures while she was here.  I didn't get a pic of her toes though.

And lastly here I am, in Church playing the piano for Primary.  Love that calling so much

Lagoon 2019

Brooke came to town and she wanted to watch Nick at work and drop him off.  So, we decided to go to Lagoon.  Nick wanted to go with us so we went on his day off.  He was able to get us discount tickets (right up my alley) due to his employment.  Yay for that and free parking.  We invited Ty to come along with Brooke. I haven't been to Lagoon for a few years.

Our first stop was the Swings.  I think I exceed the weight limit but I survived and didn't fall in.

This is my favorite Pic.  It has all things that I care about in it.  And we are standing in front of Cannibal the new Roller Coaster at Lagoon that is super scarry and I went on it.  Jack also manned up and went on the ride after carefully examining the seat belts.  

Sky Ride, Brooke and Ty made Nick and Jack go ahead of them...hmm

Had a great day at Lagoon.  It was hot and we were sweaty.  We ended it with Blast off .  I didn't participate on that ride. I had had enough rides.  So glad everyone made it.

Golf

Brooke came to visit and so did Andrew.  We decided to party and play some golf over at the West Bountiful.  We played in Rose Park last time and had a horrible game...fun but we did awful.  So we changed it up to West Bountiful.  Andrew, Brooke, Nick, and I played the golf.

Have to stop and get a drink for the game.  It was hot

This time we did much better than at Rose Park.  Maybe because we were practiced up.  I found if I tee up in the fairway and use a wood my ball goes much further.  I think I won this time.  Brooke did not win this time for sure.  She did get a lot of good use out of her left handed clubs.  It was fun to play golf with them. I wish they were here more often so we could sharpen up our game.

We had to take Nick to work right after the golf game so he had lunch at Taco Bell.  It happened to be Chik Fil A day that if you wear a cow costume or something like that you get a free entree.  So, we did that after golf.  Brooke wears that cow costume every time...So easy.  Andrew and I had to cut our costumes out of paper

Abi got into town and we picked up Nick.  We went to Gma's house because Abi was there.  Nick and Andrew were a party to talk to

Abi cleaned out Gma's fridge.  Way to do some service
