Lax for Jack

Jack decided to play LaCrosse Fall league.  He had his first ever practice.  He was a bit nervous, but went and did great.  He had fun and had some friends on the team...

So this is Jack and Hank.  Andrews friend Boone's Brother.  Andrew and Boone played Lax together and Now Jack and Hank are playing together.

Camerins dad told me how much he liked Andrew. Boone's dad told me the same thing.  yay.  Its always nice to hear that your children act decent other places and people like them.  :)

Timmie's Mother

After the first day of school, we play Timmie's Mother.  Which is from when I was a kid we use to watch this show Lassie (I think) and the kid Timmie went home after school and his mom had a treat for him and they talked about school. So we play Timmie's mother on the first day of school.

I had some plans after school so here is the Timmie's mother treat.  Jack did tell me about school for about 5 minutes.  Nick will have to tell me about school today after football. The donuts were super good though.

I also got this diet coke and cute note from a 7th grader that I don't know.  But I did teach all of her older brothers and she's the youngest and only girl.  So they must have given them a heads up.  Such a nice surprise for the first day.  

Oh that drawing in the picture is my name in pictures.  I have the kids do that with their name the first day.  I am not sure why its in the photo.

I sent the college kids $10:00 so they could get their treat for Timmie's mother.   They have to still tell me about their day.  

Back to School 2019

Somehow Summer always comes to an end and the school year begins. I am NEVER ready for that.
But school is a good too.  I only had two kids to get ready this year, and NO kids moving away to college for the first time.

Jack is in 8th grade.  

Nick is a Sophomore.  Not sure I'm ready for him to be in High School yet

And then there is me. I  am in year 27 I think.  

Here's to a new school year.  Hoping to be the best year ever.

Gearing up for Another School Year

School has started for teachers.  I have been back a few days.  Its hard to believe I have been doing this job for so long.

Here's my salvation to get me through the day.

I have so much to do to clean up my room and get it organized.

I need to be doing something other than taking selfies at my computer...

In an inservice training this am.  It was soo interesting

Getting closer to clean and ready.  Yes those are my yucky tables.  I have had the same tables for 20 years.

And Random, heres Andrew and his Trip to DC.  

And last, my second favorite place to be...Home Depot.  I spend a lot of time there during the summer, especially in the paint department

And our next project, replace the TV that Nick broke.  He was mad at some game and that happened.  Thats a lot of Lagoon hours to replace it.  

Nick's new Iphone

Nick decided since he has been working at Lagoon for a while, he would spend his hard earned money and buy the newest and greatest Iphone.  The Iphone x or something like that.  We went to the apple store an picked it up.  He got Orange.  I did spring for the clear case so you could see the cool orange color.

He was pretty excited for his purchase.  I thought it would have been a much better use of his work money to pay his school fees and his football fees.  He didn't think that was such a great idea.  He does have to have some perks for working so much. 

Bear Lake 2018

We went to Bear Lake again this summer.  It is the greatest place ever.  Here we are at our start of our leg to get there.  At the Costco Food Court. I'm sure we were picking up some other food too.  But hot dogs and pizza for the road.

We swam every day and all day.  We had paddle boards, kyacks and wave runners. 

going to launch the Wave runners.  I would go with Marti because on the way back, we stopped at the KOA for drinks and I would buy. 

this is actually me.  I am glad there are no pics of me trying to get on the wave runner.

We had a set of two bunk beds in our room.  This is my view when I looked up one night.  This is Andrew's hand.  Sleeping with 4 of us was fun.  We laughed and laughed every night. 

This is Gma and all the grandchildren that were there.  I had 4 of my 5.  Brooke didn't get to come this year because she had to be in school.  NEXT year she will be there.
