A new Lawn Mower

Nick is usually Gma's lawn guy.  He has been working a lot at the Home Depot Garden section in the Flowers so he didn't have time to mow this week.  So, Brooke and Jack decided to help him out.

We needed to weed whip. I hate weed whippers because they are hard to start, hard to use, take weird gas and I can't get the whipper string to work or thread.  So, here's Brooke fixing the weed whipper...

Jack was going a great job his first time mowing.  Its a pretty big yard. and it has these trees  he has to maneuver.

Brooke did finally figure out the weed whip and the yard looked great.  well, minus the edging we didn't do.

And this happened...

And she arrived home!  She graduated!  Ty Flew to Pensacola, Florida to meet Brooke.  The two of them drove home in 3 or 4 days.  32 Hours of driving.  I was so glad to have her finally home.  I have missed her so much.

Graduation was cancelled due to our pandemic with the Corona Virus.  I was heading to Florida for that and had to change plans.  It makes me sad that we missed it.

She followed her dream to go to zoo school.  She moved to Florida all alone to do just that.  She is brave, and smart, and fun and is going to do great things in life.  You go Girl!  

Mother's Day

Brooke arrived home the day before mother's day.  In the morning, we headed on a hike.  Michelle and Marti had been going on a Sunday Hike in NSL so I wanted to go and see where it is since its near where we live.  Well, sort of.  Anyway, Brooke went with me since I'm not walking around enough to be a hiker.  We hiked for about 15 minutes then turned around since I was kindof pushing my luck with my ankle.  But it was a Beautiful Day.  We waved to Michelle and her family on the trail.  They were ahead of us so we never saw them except to wave.  They saw a rattle snake...Yuck.

After our Hike, we went to the Zoo to see our favorite security worker.

It took a lot to get these pics with the Rhino.  Brooke, the zookeeper, had to get it exact.  I think she wanted the Rhino picture more than she wanted a pic of us....:)

Mother's day is the absolute best.  

As my children get older, I like it more and more.  They are my favorite peeps and couldn't imagine life without them. 

Andrew and Golf

Andrew came to visit during the Corona quarantine.  We didn't have much to do other than play golf and eat.  We went to the driving range a few times while he was here.  It was beautiful weather.  He also visited a friend Boone who just got off his mission.

We went to Golf the Round which I have never golfed there but it was a beautiful night. I hit a few balls but it is still hard with my boot I still have to wear.
