Randomness

So not much is happening on the home front. Work, and work and then some rest and once in a while some gym and some out to dinner.  Thats about it.  There is not a lot going on.  We did go to church and saw this pic of Abi and Brody on Jack's phone.

I have met my out of pocket maximum for health insurance so I'm getting everything I can think of taken care of.  So I had my ingrown toe nail fixed.  Here it is. It hurts today.  One other advantage of reaching that much in your health insurance is that you don't pay a copay at the pharmacy.  FOUR prescriptions and I didn't pay for one.  I would rather pay for the meds and NOT reach my out of pocket maximum however.

I did go to my surgeon who did my tendon repair in February and he was excited to see my tendon even though I wasn't there for that.  He said it was super strong and not even swollen. I felt like I have recovered pretty good.

Abi and Brooke and I also went to the Dermatologist and Andrew had a cortisone injection in his wrist.  Anything anyone needs NOW is the time.

Shark Yoga

Brooke and I went to Yoga at the Living Planet Aquarium.  You can see the shark tank in front of us.

It was super fun and the teacher was fantastic.  We connected with our animal of choice from the tank and had lots of good energy in the room.  It didn't seem like it was very hard, but I was super tired and struggled with some of it...it was a good workout.  We are going to hit it up again.  Hailey was going to go with Brooke but she got the covid.  So that was a win for me.  :)

Brooke waiting for some serious Downdog...

B and Lola and Birdsong

Michelle's family went out of town to Vernal to get a Christmas tree after Thanksgiving. We were distancing but it was ok to watch her dogs  We tended the dogs for 3 days. Brooke even took them to get a puppy chino at Starbucks.  B didn't like it but Lola ate hers AND B's.  Lola is a little thick.  She must secretly be part of our family not michelle's.

We also decided we better keep up our Saturday hike even without Michelle.  We decided to do Birdsong Trail in Ogden.  Andrew was excited to join Brooke and me.  It was absolutely FREEZING.  the wind was blowing.  But we made it up the trail to look out at the El Monte Golf course.  It was one mile round trip.  We decided we should make another trip and it was just too cold.  We found an Einsteins and introduced Andrew to that for the post hike breakfast.  Brooke and Andrew went home and hit the gym again.  Good for them.

Thanksgiving 2020

This year due to covid we decided that we needed to spend our Holidays alone.  So Michelle and Mark and I all had our own Thanksgiving dinner.  Abi couldn't come since she had to work so it was only Andrew that joined us.

We started Thanksgiving day at the Planet Fitness for a pre dinner workout. Brooke and Andrew and I rocked it at the Planet.  Nick was going to go, but he was way to tired...:)

Andrew and Jim rocked the bench thing.  I wasn't so good. I don't like the mirrors.

Since I'm a minimalist, we decided to have Costco Rotissere chicken for dinner instead of a turkey. Well and I hate reaching in the butt of the turkey to pull out the stuff that is stored in there...

It was excellent choice.  It took about 20 minutes to heat...I went all out for sure

We had rolls from Dicks that we had to raise and cook. They were actually pretty good.

The thanksgiving table. I was proud of myself that I bought that plastic tablecloth years ago at walmart for about .50 and I have almost thrown it away a million times in my quest for minimalism since I never use it.

Here's most of my favorite peeps.  We are missing Abi.

Andrew had Thanksgiving with Abi the day before so at least Abi was sort of with us.

We kept the tradition of Thanksgiving Bingo.  Jack said the prizes were lame.  Yep they probably were...Since I didn't tape as much money to them as Grandpa usually did.

Ty got the Christmas ornaments filled with M and M's.  I think he LOVED that prize.  He even forgot to take them home..

Andrew, Nick and I drove around after dinner putting Hex's on our old boyfriends and girlfriends. We didn't have that many so we ended up looking at Christmas lights and going to Maverick.

It was a great Thanksgiving.  I actually liked the smaller simpler version
