Brooke is moving into Ty's dad's duplex. They have been fixing it up and she decided to paint the cabinets. We decided to help her. I love a good painting project. I have taken a few days off work to help her.

Brooke cleaned up our Christmas decorations and got them all put away. She forgot to put these animals that were in our nativity scene away. Of course we needed cheetas and snakes in our nativity.
I bought this scoop, that is used to get your golf ball out of the water hazard, for a Christmas present that I didn't end up giving. So Brooke and I were taking it back. But before that, Brooke decided to check it out. It seems to be very handy if you need to retrieve something high up or for getting Nick out of bed for the gym. Just ask Andrew. I'll try to post the video of a shovel Andrew used, but this scoop would be easier because you wouldn't need to be as close to Nick to get him out of bed.
We have reached our out of pocket maximum on our health insurance. Imagine with my surgery and Nick's Brain Injury that our bills are that high. So, we were getting everything done we could. I decided to get my toe that has been bothering me fixed. I got my ingrown toenail fixed. It kind of hurt and doesn't look that great. But we love the good looking Dr. Tight pants as Michelle calls him. So it was worth it.
Christmas this year was different and a lot the same. I have found that I don't stay up late, but just get up in the morning to get presents out. Everyone sleeps in so long that I can just do it in the am.
Christmas was actually really great in spite of Covid. We stayed home, except for our take out. Brooke and Abi and Andrew got me a NEW phone for Christmas. It is an HR (I think) and it is absolutely the best. I have needed a new phone that works. It is the best! Love them for thinking of me.
Ty has been going to school to be a Corrections Officer. He graduated! He is a real live Corrections Officer and working at the State Prison (I think) in Bluffdale.
The day before Christmas Eve I decided I needed to get wrapping and Christmas figured out. I got some strength from my Taco salad from Del Taco and a Maverick drink.
