Bonneville LAX

 I could just post the lax pictures and say they are for all the games because they all look alike.  I did bother to take some pics at the Bonneville Game so I might as well post them for posterity ...:)

Another loss for Bountiful High but it was only a one point loss and we scored like 6 goals so we are getting better.   The JV game was first, so Jack and Nick conveniently like McDonalds after while they watch the Varsity game.  Gma and I go get it for them. Gma pays of course.  :)  

Got a Facetime Call from Abi during the game.  She said she got a scholarship and is the President of a wellness thing on Campus.  She will need to tell me again so I can update the right thing.  Way to go Abi.  You are a smarty.

A slight mishap

 

I come home from work, and put in some wash as I'm about to leave. I walk upstairs and this is what I see.  Oh and the Boyfriend Ty was there.  They proceed to tell me that Brooke passed out at work.  She fell on the ground in the Small Animal Building (which is totally Yuck) and cut her chin. She was bleeding all over her mask.  

Ty came and picked her up, and took her to Instacare and she got SEVEN stitches.  

Not sure why she passed out, but she did feel weird before it happened.  

Fun fact when she was 2 she had to have stitches in the exact same place on her chin.   

Yay for not getting blood on her Zoo Shirt.  

Bingham LAX

 

Bountiful Played Bingham in Lax.  Bingham is where my sister lives and her kids went to High School so they came and watched.  It was freezing and windy but fun.  Bountiful did lose to Bingham but only lost by one goal.  Which is pretty good considering they lost 20 to 2 in Park City..:)  

Jack and Nick are both out there.  97 and 99.  Jack did get a penalty for an illegal body check and had to go to the penalty box. I think that makes him a bit proud...

Here we all are, Kristin and McCall came but they left before this picture was taken.  Love these people.  I took this photo which I can't believe we are all in the pic...You would think I would have made sure it was more flattering for me ...

THEN at 9:30 pm the doorbell rings...always makes my heart stop a beat...and this was on the porch

                                                           Nick got answered for Prom.  YAY.  

Student of the Month

 

I came home from work and this was in our front yard.  I knew it was Jack since he is the only one at Mueller Park Jr High.  Jack said his math teacher nominated him because his third term was his highest grade in math.  Wow.  Way to go Jack.  He did take the sign down two times AND Brooke put it back up twice.  He finally decided it was too much work to move it to the garage just for it to reappear. It isn't like anyone we know will ever see it.

Grandma brought this over for Jack.  Funny her writing on the sign looks like McCall wrote it.  :)

Easter 2021

 Easter Egg Hunt at Gma house didn't disappoint.  We had hawaiian Haystacks for dinner and found Easter eggs in the back yard.  All the big kids get into the egg hunt.  Mitchell I think was in charge so some of the eggs were on the roof and high in the trees.  We needed a ladder for more eggs than we have ever needed to before.

Nick and I got an opportunity to play some golf...so we did.  It was fun.  We played at Snyder's Riverside in Riverdale. It is  great course.  Nick only lost about 3 balls...and almost hit the trailer park twice.  

I didn't put myself out much for Easter this year. I got some candy and some Easter grass and some Cookies.  I didn't even get baskets or clothes for anyone.  Making the holidays less stressful and minimalizing them.  It makes it more enjoyable for everyone.

Happy Birthday Brooke and a 2nd Dose

 Brooke turned 25 on April 2.  I should have done a post on Facebook (since I'm an old Female and they are the ones that post there) or Instagram or Snapchat...That said 25 years ago this lovely lady came into my life and made me a mama.  And I haven't regretted it at all.  Brooke is the most fun and entertaining girl.  Especially when she let the cat in or Nick's favorite when she makes cat sounds in the car just randomly.   

Brooke choose Cafe Rio for dinner.  Ty brought the First Responder discount and Brooke provided the 5.00 off on your birthday coupon.

Earlier in the Day, Nick and Brooke both got their SECOND dose of Covid 19 Vaccine.  

While we were waiting our 15 minutes in the car, for allergic reactions to show up, they decided they needed a sticker that said they were vaccinated.  They had to walk to the booth to get them.

We also decided to test our golf skills with Michelle at the Driving range.  Michelle found a driver on her ping pong table and decided to use that for the golf.  She did pretty good with it.  

Brooke is a leftie on the golf game.  

Jack decided to come with us.  He has not liked golf.  Maybe he just came for the Maverik drink after...
