Friday Golf

Andrew was able to sneak away from his work from home job that he does from Gma's house early on Friday.  We decided to play some golf over at Rose Park.  We played the back nine  I thought I would show Andrew my new clubs and how good I have gotten.  RIGHT.  I did show him my new clubs and golf shoes.

The back nine was kindof difficult, because it is a par 5, 3, 5, 3, 5, 3,5,3.  I didn't even see any Par 4.  It was a super long hole or a short one.  But it was fun and I scored a 56.  Which is like two extra strokes per hole which isn't soo bad for me.  I beat Andrew according to him.  He said that I had a bunch of new stuff but still suck.  So thats encouraging for me...:)  

Jack plaed in a LAX game for a comp team on Saturday.  He actually saw a few minutes playing time which I was surprised.  

A Snack and a Fiiz

 

Brooke and I decided to go try this new Everbowl place.  We are having a shortage of Yogurt places around here.  Like there are none  close.  So we tried this out.  It was acai on the bottom, Chia Pudding, then granola, then full of toppings like pineapple, kiwi, strawberries.  It was fab.  Nick and Jack came with us, and decided it wasn't for them and they wanted Chik Fil A.  Ya I could have guessed that for sure

Andrew is working for his Fraternity and had to travel to Chicago for two weeks.  He is living with me for a while after graduation.  It is the best havig him here with us.  He goes to the gym every morning at 5:45 and likes to hang with me somethings.  Well, mostly when he is bored but hey, I'm ok with that.  

Nick got a job at the local drink place, Fiiz.  I visited the other day, and this is the best picture I got of him.  Funny the kids can't wait to take pics of themselves but if their mom wants a pic, NO way.  I even tipped him 5.00.

He did fix me a good drink with diet coke, and razzleberry and cream.  And this cookie was pretty good too.  

My Favorite Holiday

 

I have a new Favorite Holiday.  Father's Day.  It requires absolutely NO work for me.  My dad is dead and I'm divorced so I have NO one to make sure feels important.   However, Brooke made sure I felt important.  I LOVE the cooler and hae wanted one for Bear Lake. She planned ahead to go to Costco with Grandma since she has the Costco Membership.  

Then you open the cooler and there is FOUR cases of Diet Coke!  There is also a case on top and a Rose.  

AND such a cute note on the napkin.  We love notes on napkins.  I love that they remember me.  I love them and love being the mom for sure.  I wish I didn't have to be the dad too.  It is nice that it is noticed.  :)  

Tuacahan 2021

 

It was time to head to St. George for Tuacahan.  Michelle, Marlena and I have been going for like 10 years.  We did miss last year due to Covid so I was super excited to get back to live theater and tuacahan.  

Our first stop, Fillmore Maverick

We stopped at the Cemetary and found my grandfather's grave.  I didnt even know him.  We only saw him about two times.  But it was fun to see it and catch up on some geneology.  Love cemetaries

First night, was Annie.  It was hot.  Abi got to come with us this year, as we had an extra ticket.  Something about Covid and trading our tickets in...but it was fun to have her with us.  

Next morning, Abi, Brody, Maureen and Dana, Brody's mom had breakfast so we could meet.  We went to Kneaders.  It was fabulous and fun to meet Brody's mom.  Glad I was able to do that while we were there.  

We also Saw Beauty and the Beast.  It was even hotter this night.  St. George was having an unusually hot Spell.  GREAT.  Love me some hot.  It was fabulous and didn't even mind the heat (that much).  

Sunday morning before we left, Michelle and I rode the bikes at the hotel.  It was hot but it was fun and felt so good to get some exercise before our long car ride home.  

We also sent to the pool, Drove to Veyo and got a milkshake and a corndog, and ate at Costa Vida and Cafe Rio.  We didn't even shop which was a first.  

More Golf

 I have been playing some more golf.  Here I am at Morgan Round Valley Course  I really like it there  

I did manage to drop a golf club on my finger...not sure how I managed to do it but it hurt!

 

And this Happened

 

Abi and Brody were coming up from St. George to take Jack to the Water Park for his birthday.  On the way up, this happened!  Holy Cow, I have TWO daughters getting married.  I actually had a heads up this was happening...and I couldn't be happier.  So excited to see what their future brings.

Every day now

 Since School is out, I can go to the gym every day...yay....I guess.  Jim makes me get up and go on her days off but I was also impressed that I went on my own when she had to work Monday AND Tuesday.  

I am not dead, but using the hydromassage chairs in the Planet Fitness Lounge...LOVE it.  I had to send that to Jim so she was jealous that I was massaging and she waas cleaning up Poop at work...:) 

Not even sure the Planet makes a difference for me other than I just have ot keep being able to get up the stairs at work without breathing too hard...I think of my neice McKenna who found out that my classroom is on the second floor asked me if I'm breathig hard when I get up the stairs.  Yes, McKenna I do.  Here's to not breathing as hard.  

Sunday Trip to the Zoo for Mother's Day

 Mother's day rolls around and since its Mother's day I decided we should go to the zoo.  Brooke was working and it was a beautiful day.  So we headed to the Zoo.  We got to see Brooke in action.

It is always fun to go to the zoo, especially when the weather is great and fun to see Brooke in action.  We had a great time.

Such a fun day with the people I love the absolute most.  (I missed Abi).  Mother's day is my favorite day.  I LOVE being a mother and absolutely adore those tiny humans that I have.  I appreciate the texts and the dinner and the gifts.  It coudn't have been a better day.  Trip to the Zoo and then Dinner with my favorites.
