Leaf Hunt in the books

We had another great Leaf Hunt.  Everyone that lives in town actually comes to the Leaf Hunt.

I have a million pictures of getting the picture because I took them while Michelle was saying all the people wouldn't fit. Well, yes they did fit.

I would have been ok without the dogs...unless it was B Davis or Lola.

Wore my chacos. I kindof have PTSD from wearing them in Disneyland and how bad my feet and body hurt...

Lots of good food we had.  and I brought 64 hot dogs and took home 40.  Once again I have a problem with portion control.  I did also bring 12 Brats with cheddar and jalapeno that people ate.  I would probably bring more of those next time.

I didn't even get any pictures of the actual hunt.  or of anyone other than the group pictures.  But the prizes were great and the company was the best.  AND we even had the candy cigarettes again.  Gma never ceaes to amaze me with her approval of candy cigarettes.

Prom For Our Nick

Nick went to Prom over the weekend.  I did make him take a picture before he left and he wasn't so excited about it.  But thats what you have to do.  He says I have enough pictures.  Apparently I don't.

I think I like htis one the best

Nick did send me a few pics of them on their date.

He left this in my car.  He took the Van and only cleaned it out mostly.

I was proud of Nick for NOT wearing gym shoes.

Wedding Announcements

Sunday I took myself to the gym.  I didn't work hard, and didn't even sweat.  Like walked on the treadmill for a bit.  Then I went ot the Hydromassage.  I need something out of my Black Card membership.  Its more fun if Brooke goes with me however.

AND I bought a new car.  Love it so much.  Love that I don't worry about breaking down or what the weird clicking sound coming from the dash board is or that the side door doesn't open or that the engine light is on or that it has 200000 miles on it.  Long overdue but I was busy buying cars and maintaining cars for all these kids I have.  Love them all but cars and insurance for them all is expensive.

AND wedding time.  I have been addressing Abi's wedding announcements.  Andrew helped me last night make sure we got everyone and the right addresses.  Now to seal them and mail.  Got the stamps too!

Golf day

And here's a dress i ordered.  I haven't looked at it yet but it looks kindof like a tent so hopefully it fits...:)

Ramblings

So, been playing some more golf.  Andrew and Jack come sometimes. I sent this pic to someone so thats why I have it.  I somehow missed the pic of Jack and Andrew.  We played at Meadowbrook. I liked it.  It wasn't crowded and was very low key.

Brooke and McKenna thought it would be a great idea to go to this cycling class at the cycle bar.  I didn't work that hard because I just wasn't sure what was coming next and how far I had to go.  However, my bootie hurts from the seat and so does everything else.

We went to Protein Foundry after because McKenna was on Keto diet. I wouldn't go back.  NOT a fan.

Mine was ok, but everyone was still hungry after.  Michelle and McKenna (who was on Keto) and Brooke went to the Habit after and got a cheeseburger. Well, if we were going to go to the Habit why did we stop at Protein Foundry for 30.00 instead of just going to the habit?  UGH.  And if McKenna was on Keto what was she doing going to the Habit and getting sweet potato fries?

Here's the schedule and they want us to come back for another class. I want to...

AND my Van turned over 200000.  It really isn't a great milestone. I haven't trusted the car for about 70000 miles.  I always rent a car when I go out of town (which is about 1 time a year if I'm lucky) because I don't want to worry about car trouble.  I would like to have a car that I can trust for a change to drive to Park City or Delta or St. George.  Gotta be soon for sure

Nick is an Adult now

Nick Turned 18.  We had Cafe Rio and opened his few presents.  He got home from Football (where he is the offensive Coordinator or whatever he is doing), around 7:30 and Nick, Jack and Andrew wanted to go to Basketball practice with the Elders at 8:30...So we had not much time to have Cafe Rio.  They decided to have rootbeer floats and open his presents after basketball...

After basketball the two of them thought they were going to die.  Which is hilarious because listening to them all talk, they are athletes of the year and benching the maximum at the gym...

Anyway, I didn't get ONE pic of Nick.

So,  Sunday, Brooke suggested we have a Redo of his birthday.  Great Idea.  Brooke and Ty came over right after church so we could go on this Nature trail I have heard about just up the street in NSL.

Once again, I failed and wasn't sure about the trail.  We walked a bit and then turned around.  We didn't have B with us so  we were also on a time frame before the next drops.

We repeated the Birthday celebration and Ty and Brooke brought 6 flavors of Pringles for Nick as he loves Pringles.

AND we got the pic of him with 18 fingers so we know how old he is.

Nick is now 18 which means he is an adult.  He can go to his own Dr appts and I think check himself out of school.  He can also pay his own way in life.  I can't imagine him making or arriving at his own Dr appts actually.  Nick is living his best life.  He is funny, fun and eager to hang with friends.  He has only wrecked the car once when he ran into a tree.  He is a good sport and makes me smile when I think about him.   He does have to complete his senior year in high school so I don't think he is going to be paying for himself for a while.  You Go Nick!
