Great Tuesday

Tuesday we headed to Red Lobster for All You Can Eat Shrimp.  Andrew set it up with Ty.  Brooke and I tagged along for our good company.  We all had the shrimp and decided Walt's favorite was our best shrimp. Although Ty might argue the Coconut Shrimp with the Pina Colada sauce was the best.

Nope not me.

Ty was the stinker and paid.  He is a pain that way but so very nice.

He is a stinker in this photo too.  What was he thinking

I didn't get any pictures of it, just like my dinner on Sunday.  But was super fun.   They even got Carlita to tend the dog so we could party.

Love me some Lobster with my besties.

Great Sunday

We had Stake Conference this weekend.  Somehow we didn't go.  Jack decided to go to Michelle's house for Sunday Dinner.  McCall picked him up.

That left Andrew and Maureen and Nick.  Andrew and Maureen decided to go to dinner at Olive Garden.  I haven't been there for years. We tried the new one in Bountiful.  I got the Tour of Italy and Andrew got Chicken Parmegania.  It was great and Andrew even paid.  So nice. I tried to get a photo but he said we would get one outside wiht the sign and we forgot of course.

THEN we drove to Lehi for a Halloween light tour.  We drove by 3 houses with Halloween light shows.  That was fun. There were 6 total but we decided 3 was enough.

We drove home and decided it was time for bed to make sure we got up for the gym.  Well, only one of us got up for the gym.

A New Grand Dog

Brooke comes over and shows me her new Dog.  He is 9 weeks old and name is  Wonton.  He is Very cute. Then she sent me these pictures of him.

Funny I'm not seeing my Halloween Blanket...

He is a puppy and bit his other grandma.  Good thing I didn't get that close.

College Week at SDJH

At my school we had College week so we were suppose to wear stuff from our Alma mater or a college.  I didn't have any from Weber State or BYU so I wore this one from Dixie State which is where Abi goes to college.  I got it when she came down for Freshman orientation.  I'm surprised it still fits.

Jim sends me this pic of her cleaning out the Elephants on a cold day.

I think I'm going to keep these shoes that I bought maybe for the wedding.

Baked some cookies in my new oven.  Well not so new oven but I haven't baked any chocolate chip cookies.  It did a great job.  I LOVE my new oven

At the planet fitness.  once in the past month...been a bit busy

Senior Night for Nick

Nick has been helping out the football team.  He can't play after his head injury and Brain surgery last year.  Andrew and I decided to go see him in action at the last game of the season.  Plus it was Senior night and I didn't know if they would announce him as part of the team.

Nick is in the Red sweatshirt talking to the head coach about something.  He has a headset and a clipboard.  Looks so important

He is inbetween the players next to #18

Andrew and I sitting in the stands. It was super cold.  Jack was with the student section.  I don't know how to take a selfie...FYI.

Andrew and I were waiting to see if Nick was going to walk through the players as the senior.  He said he didn't need us to there.  I can't believe he even let me take this picture of him.  He was announced after all the players as part of the Managers.  So I didn't need to walk through the player arch with him.  I'm sure he was glad.

Glad he could be part of them and help them out.  He says they are on their way to the playoffs this week so he has more work to do.

Abi's Open House

We stayed the night at Jacob's Lake which was beautiful too.  It was cool and crisp.  I don't have any pictures of it other than these waiting to check in or for the cookies I bought.  Michelle, Brooke and I walked in the am and it was cool and crisp. I would have liked to spend more time there to see the sights but we had things to do.  We have an Open House to attend.

We drove back to St. George which was about a 3 hour drive.

We stopped at Taco Bell for Lunch.  The drive back was beautiful too.  It is fun to have a destination wedding and make it a trip.

We stayed in the Holiday Inn in Hurricane.  It was a different hotel than we have stayed in.  It was good but the pool was shady.  We didn't have pool time though.  We had to pick up our refreshments.  Brooke and Andrew picked up the crumble cookies.

They were not ready on time so they had to wait.  A Cute client of Abi's made 300 mini donuts.  So Andrew and I picked them up.  She was so sweet to make those.  Brooke picked up the Nothing Bundt Cake as the wedding cake.  We got ready and headed to the Open House.  Good thing we wore the same thing as yesterday because it made it so easy and no one spilled or split their pants.

That is the Nothing Bundt Cake and the donuts Abi's client made.

Crumbl cookies on the table and their picture of them at Maverick

They also made this Corn Hole game and had people sign it as the guest book.

Abi's friends that drove down from SLC.  Berts, Abi Tribe, Syd Wood, Austin Freestone and Hailey Lamb.

Grandma and Brooke

Nick geting his hair braided by Brody's sister.  She had a Brain Tumor removed a year ago (or something like that) so they could bond over their brain surgery stories

Grandma and the table decorations

Brody's Mom in the orange dress

Doesn't Brody look handsome in his new suit.  They got it specially made in Las Vegas.

Austin Freestone (ab's friend) and Jack

Dancing Afterwards.  We were the life of the dance.  It was their friends and the Clemons that were dancing.  Count on us to be the life of the party:)

It was a great night.  Brody's mom put on the Open House in St. George. It was at His mom's sisters house that got married in July.  The house was beautiful and decorated so nicely.  The food was good.  I had two relatives come to the Open House for me.  Stephen and Bonnie.  I was excited to have at least two people for me.

Brody and Abi make a great couple.  I can't wait to see where life takes them.
