Christmas Eve 2021

Christmas Eve was my best ever.  First of all, Abi and Brody came the day before!  Then I didn't have much to do but rest and wrap presents.  I didn't even give my neighbors anything so I didn't have any of that stress of delivering  I was surprised any neighbors even gave me a gift since I'm so antisocial.

Then we decided to meet Michelle at our usual Temple Square.  It is under renovation so it was minimal in lights this year.  WE had like one lap around the tabernacle with Christmas lights and a few Nativities.  Brooke saw her favorite one with the Zebras and Giraffes.

Then we went to our usual In N Out for dinner.  We went to the Centerville one so we could Pick up Marlena and Nick since he had to work and missed the Temple Square event.  Next time I think I'll skip Nick as he ordered TWO double doubles.  oh but they were protein style so he said it wasn't too much to eat.

In N Out isn't my best place, but it is open on Christmas eve and the Centerville one was NOT busy.  So maybe next year we will go to that one again.  We usually hit the west Valley one and it has been super busy the last few years.  Guess everyone is on to our ideas.

Found this beauty on my phone...

We did go to a presentation in the Tabernacle on the ceiling about the Nativity.  Michelle saw it then we got there so we stayed for the Spanish Version. I think I understood what happened in Spanish too.

These gifts are from Their dad.  I said I would wrap them for him.

These are the socks at Costco that I wanted but in BYU.  So Abi got them in St. George.  Yay for her.

After we got home, we watched Elf.  So fun to have all my kiddies home.  I miss them all so much.

And We Were Singing

We finally got to go to the Sing a Long at the Delta Center.  They cancelled it last year.  I wondered if it would come back and it sure did.

Michelle's family and us.  Mark's family didn't make it.  We missed them.

These were all my loves that were there.  Abi and Brody were living in St. George

So we sang and sang and sang some more. We got there early enough for some half price concessions.  If we get in free, I feel like we should at least eat there.  I had pizza, someone else had chicken basket, and someone had cup bob (which was not half off).  We even had to show our vaccination cards for admittance.  Good thing we are all vaccinated.

Here are some pics of my Grand dog Wonton.

Abi Did it!

YAY  Abi is graduated with her BSN-RN.  That is an RN in Nursing.  Way to go.  I absolutely LOVE this picture of her.  It really sums her up.  Smart and stunning.

We went to her pinning ceremony which is like white coats for Drs. but Pinning for nurses.  It was absolutely fabulous.  Brooke and Brodi and I went.  There were only 3 tickets each.

LOVE this Abi so much!

They read this as she walked across the stage.

There is the Brody waiting to pin her.  They were super smart and the pins were attached to a ribbon so they didn't have to pin it like in cub scouts.  It was like a necklace.

I love all these people

This is the Brody after pinning her.

So proud of my little Abi.  She worked so hard and graduated with a 4.0.  She was on scholarship too.  Such a smarty.  She is headed to Boston and Northeastern University.  She was admitted to the Physical Assistance Program for the fall of 2022.  This post doesn't really do her justice because she rocks.  She is confident and spicy and sassy and kind and loving and determined and thoughtful and fun.  Way to go. Thanks for inviting me because I wouldn't have wanted to miss it. Celebrating Abi is so fun.  Now go be more awesome in Boston.
