Family Dinner - just like Michelle

 

Sunday, Brooke comes over to wash and such.  I ask her about dinner and if she wanted Meatloaf.  I was thinking we would have chicken and green beans and potatoes but she said yes.  And Ty gets of at 6:00 so he would LOVE meatloaf too.  We invited my friend Kent too.  

Wow we were having family dinner like Michelle does. wow.  

I didn't even get any pictures of the dinner.  But it was great.  The meatloaf was outstanding. Just ask Ty.  Rolls needed some work.  We were not sure how to do those.  We threw the directions out before we were finished. Next time will be better.

Andrew flattered us with his presence because he doesn't like Meatloaf.  But he was a good sport to sit there while we did.  

On another note, Jack was at Michelle's for Family Dinner.  He came home with this hair cut.

Nick went to the Dance and these are the pics. It was 70s themed.  He is in the blue looking so good.  

This is Wonton and Brooke sent me this and said that even he doesn't like Afgans.  

Clubs I found at Dicks for Michelle.  They are just like mine.  Just the newer version since mine are two years old 

AND I did remember to go to the Planet Fitness on Saturday.  I didn't see Gma there so I wonder if she forgot again to go.  Not making much progress because my knee hurts.  But at least I wasn't at a Buffet.  

AND Tryouts for Lax today.  Go BHS LAX.  

President's Day

President's day started with a trip to Planet Fitness.  I didn't forget like Grandma did over christmas Break.  I did 10 minutes on the Treadmill and 15 minutes on the Bike.  My knee was feeling good when I started but didn't feel so good when I got off  

Andrew and I decided to clean the basement and get rid of trash and HUD.  My favorite thing is to get rid of stuff.  You would never know by looking at my house.  But here's the basement.  We cleaned it and we still need to take the jersey down. I am NOT decorating the family room in LAX jerseys.  

We got rid of like 5 bag of trash and this is 3 bags for the DI.  There are others.  I'm sure that the DI will just throw away our donated stuff.  But at least it is out.  Can't wait to cross off my chart all the stuff.

Death Valley

 I spent the weekend in Death Valley National Park with this Golf Group I golf with sometimes.

It was filled with Golf, sun and fun.  

Stayed the first night in Tonopah, NV which is 2 hours outside of Death Valley.  We headed over Friday morning in time for golf at 10:45 am

We were headed to Furnace Creek golf course.

The golf Course is super cool.  It is the hotttest place on Earth (I think) and here is a golf course.  The golf course was in ok condition, we did have lots of mud which was weird in the desert  

Gotta keep hydrated on the course.  It was a 4.50 refill for me.

Geese and birds were the only animals that I saw. We saw coyotes last year.  Not this year.

I played my best round on Day one.  Tom even said I was on my way to being a good golfer.  :)

                                    After golf, we had lunch at the 19th Hole (at the golf course) and then to the pool.

Dinner one night

This was the dinner menu.  It was ok food and super expensive

Before we drove home on Sunday night, we stopped and saw some sights.  

Artist Palate is a drive to see those colors up there.   

This group in the back was looking at the formations, which were because of salt, and wondering why the Great Salt Lake isn't like that.  Kindof an interesting question

Headed home on Sunday.  Loved it.  such beautiful weather like 72 degrees for golf in February.  Couldn't have asked for better weather.  

And I loved that Andrew kept the home front in line  Everyone was alive and well when I returned.
