Lovin Some Andrew

Andrew has been living back home for a few months til he figures out what he wants or forever. I don't care really.  I like him there.  We have been playing lot of golf.

Not sure what course it is but maybe West Bountiful

Here's some of my favorites.  At the scotish festival I think

And some of my other loves too

Andrew went on a Trip to Arizona.  He went to a concert and a Childrens Science museum.

Look at that good Looking Shirt we got at the PGA Superstore.  That is our favorite golf store.  Wish they had some school clothes for me

That is a good shirt too.

Rose Park golf course.  It was a record high and we were there after church around 3:00.  We were sitting in the cart on hole 1 waiting and this kid comes up and says hey are you the 3:00?  Yes,  ok i'm suppose to pair with you.  Ok come pair!  He a hilarious and played in bare feet.

It was SUPER hot and I thought I was going to die by hole 9.  Seriously.  However I survived and it was actually a pretty good round for me. I mean a pretty good 9 holes.  A roundof golf is 18 holes.  So we have to say we played 9 holes.

These are Andrew's favorite golf shoes of mine.  I think they are pretty cool.  I'll attract the men for sure wearing them.  The bare footed guy commented on them as soon as I got out of the cart.  I know he was serious when he said they were super cool.  :)

Played some golf with Andrew and Jack at Schneiders Bluff.  Super fun AND super HOT.  I think I beat all of them.  They we got Jersey Mike's for Dinner thanks to Andrew.

Love this course too.  This is the Schneiders too.

Paddleboaring

Started my day at the Black Bear Diner.  Love some Black Bear.

Brooke and I and Wonton decided to go on an outing.  We went to the Tibble Fork Lake and took Wonton and Paddleboarded.  We only took one paddleboard beause we really didn't know what we were doing and thought one would be enough for Brooke to blow up...:)

Brooke came out to Bountiful and we watched a video on how to blow them up and it was very helpful.

We drove to the Tibble fork and it was beautiful.  Brooke got the Paddleboard blown up and off she went.  They allowed Dogs to Ton was able to play too.

Brooke paddled me around for a bit.  But the water was super cold.   I'm so excited I figured out how to upload a video  faster

Look at the Ton in his life jacket.

It was beautiful place.  Ton loved it I think because as we were cleaning up he went and jumped on other people's paddle boards.  Everyone loves a Corgi.

We left because a storm was coming in.  Headed to Maverick and JCW for some cheese fries.  I ate all the fries.  Imagine that.

Super fun next time we are taking two paddle boards.  I think Brooke can blow up two.

Slowly but surely finding the elect

July 24, 2023

What's up guys! This week was one of the better ones in this area. We are slowly building momentum and have a few people now that could progress and be baptized.

We ran two exchanges this week one with the Spanish Boys and the other with my boy elder Hansen up in kearney. Both exchanged were super good.

On Wednesday we found 3 new people to teach. Our boy John was just taking a nice trip down the road in his jazzy and he listened to a message. Then Kimberly and Nikki were both huge miracles at the end of the night.

Kimberly was going to be referred by one of our members but things kept falling through and we just happened to knock on her door in this random apartment complex. It was hype!!

Then had an exchange with my boy elder Hansen. We taught this like half bashy half spirit led lesson to this family they are trying to teach. Super fire lesson the moms heart just needs to be softened a little bit so that they can baptize her.

Anyway missionary work is a grind and we just gotta keep on working out here. We have two people on date for August so please pray for our guys Daniel and Tony.

 Remember God loves you!!

Wonton goes to the Lake

Wonton got to go to the Lake. I think this is up in Park City.  These are the videos that Brooke sent me of him.  He did good. I did wonder if he didn't come back, who was going in to get him

Silly me, of couse it would be Ty that goes in!

Love the Ton in his life jacket.

The Ton doesn't like me very much.  I watched him while Brooke and Andrew went to the Store.

This is what he does.  He sits in this chair and looks out the window and waits for Brooke to come back.  I was even nice to him and I let him get on my couch and on my bed and I would rub his belly.

This is what I was doing.  Sitting on the couch with the afgan.  ( not my favorite blanket...)  but he wouldn't even sit by me.

Then When Brooke and Andrew are there, he is all over sitting by them

Missing our Nick

Brooke sent me this video of Nick at the Sunday Night Concerts at the Ed kenley.  It wasn't a great concert but th kazoo was pretty fun.  Nick is still rocking it in Omaha saving souls and bringing everyone to Christ.

Then as i was uploading that video, I fould this gem.  I watch this video when I need a good laugh.  Nick was so funny that day.

Love that kid.

Always good to talk to him most weeks.  He called just me this week to ask for some protein powder if he sent me a link.  Sure I can do that  He needs to get swole on the mission.  Need to get his gains.

Ty and the Ton and Summer

Look at this handsome pic of the Ty.  He went to the funeral of his co worker so he is all dressed up in his dress uniform.

Gotta chat with the Nick recently.  He has moved to the country and I don't think he is loving the country so much.  But he sounded good.  We haven't gotten an email for a while.  He said it is his other companions fault that he doesn't write as much...ok. He went to play golf and then to Canes Chicken and then to basketball.  No wonder he didn't have time.

Brooke wants some trekker poles.  Here they are at the costco. There are plenty.

Andrew and i went to the free Sunday Night concerts at the Ed Kenley Ampitheater.  It was Joshua Creek that I like.  It was hot but not too bad. We got in the shade.  The dude in the bucket hat was eating a salad from Winco.  It smelled like Ranch Dressing and about grosed me out.  Iike bring a donut.  Something that doesn't smell yuck.

But fun and glad Andrew was willing to go with me.  Love the free Sunday Concerts at the Ed Kenley.

About my only project I have done for summer. I have shortened two blinds.  I have had them since I moved in and they have always been too long.  So I shortened the blinds and cleaned the window.  Wow.  Not sure why after 15 years I finaly decided to do that.  The pic is how many slats I removed.

Looks so much better

Miller Bird Refuge and Nature Trail

Brooke decided we needed to go on another hike.  Ok....So she suggested the Living Room Hike.  Sounds Good.  I started reading about it and it say it is Steep, Steep, and steep.  Not sounding like a hike for me especially in July.  So I found this other hike to the Miller Bird Refuge and Nature Trail.

The trail is in downtown salt lake ...sort of like 900 s and 1700 E.  It is mostly dirt but pretty easy and beatiful.  It was shaded and had a few stairs.  We took the Wonton of course.

It followed city creek I think so the temperature was super nice and cool.

We even made two loops around and I did 1.66 miles.  Such a great nature walk.

Then we headed to Bountiful to Einstein Bagels and too a nap.

4th of July

Love me some Fourth of July.  This year, Andrew and I played some golf in Brigham City.  I have always wanted to play that course and it was super fun.  It wasn't even that hot.  We played a great game.

Here's Brooke and Ty with the Fourth decor on!

This is the only pic I took of the Brigham City Golf course.  It was super green and ready to play!

The last time I was on this course is when I followed Abi when she was on the Woods Cross High Girls Golf team.  It was fun to relive that and actually get to play some this time.  I feel soo sorry for her having to walk. It was far and uphill to the clubhouse after the last hole!

Went to the Trader Joe's and got some potato salad.  It was actually really good.  Have to have Potato Salad for the holiday.  It is the closest to my mother's potato salad I have ever seen to buy.  It reminded me of Ty who went to the Costco and got a Costco size potato salad to eat and then got a fork in the food court to eat in the car.

I tried that at Traders and their forks were wood or bamboo and were like eating a tongue depresser they use in the dr. office.  NOT a fan.  I need to bring a plastic fork to the Trader's next time.

Here's some great places for fireworks.  I didn't go to any.  Brooke invited me to Riverton Fireworks but I was super tired after golf and Andrew and Jack didn't want to go.  NEXT year we are so at Riverton.

Water Slidin'

Michelle's friend had a promotion for people to go to the Water Park for Free but just remember them when you want to buy a house.  So we went with them.

Andrew and Jack and I got to go.  I didn't take any other pics but this one.  I didn't have my phone out.

We had a great time.  I mostly hung out in the Lazy River with Michelle and McKenna and Theo went with us the first time.  Then we rested and I tended Theo while the rest of them water slided.  IT was perfect.  I would rather sit in the shade and tend the baby.

I have missed water sliding and water parks since our close water park closed down.  We loved a good Raging Waters.

We stopped at Canes Chicken on the way home because we worked up such an appetite.

Great Family Home Evening.
