Christmas Day 2023

Christmas Day we waited for Brooke and Ty to come over.  We started with a walk around the Bountiful Pond with the Ton.  It is about a mile around.  It was cool and crisp but great way to get in some Christmas Exercise.  We only saw about 3 people there.  Then we opened a presents.

Ty is opening a soap thing he wanted (I think) with a super hero on it...:)

gotta get our beverages

Love the Corgi paper

Jack got a TV

That is our tree that doesn't have any decorations on it.  Andrew put up the tree the day before Christmas so I didn't feel the need to decorate it since we will just take it down soon.

Brooke had to leave to go to her in laws house.

Andrew and I drove to the Golden Ginger to get our chinese food.  It is our tradition.  It is really a great idea because it is super great food and no one has to cook.

It was great.  Andrew paid and we got General Tao's chicken, and Yellow Curry Chicken.  Fabulous

Ended the day at the indoor golf simulator.  I'm getting so good at golf with all this practicing.  :)

Ended the day talking to Nick.

Great day.

Merry Christmas from Abi and other Christmas happenings

I got this great Christmas Video from Abi.  Love it.

Got this from My Boston peeps

And I need to remember this when I'm overwhelmed with Christmas.

Love this paper bin.  I got it from My Aunt June when she died 10 years ago and I'm still going strong using it.

Grandma and Brooke making popcorn balls

Brooke and I wishing we were at Scheels when Santa was there.  Ton didn't get to see Santa that day.

More from my Boston peeps

This is hilarious.

This is my favorite Christmas Story.  Love it.

Christmas Eve 2023

As I was wrapping the gifts , and the Candy cane kisses, I realized that I haven't made these cookies for a long time.  Look how good they look.  They lasted about 20 minutes.

Christmas Eve Breakfast

haha

Jack and I resting on the Christmas eve

Went to the Golf Simulator with Andrew for some indoor golf.

Gotta have our maverik drinks

After that we headed to Ogden to the Ogden City lights.  It was crowded and I think they were the same people that were at the 5.00 Zoo day we went to in November...:)

We were able to bring the Ton with us.  He was super good.

We had Brooke, Ty, Andrew and Jack.  Missing our Abi and our Nick.

After the Lights we headed to In N Out Burger.  This is our usual place for Christmas eve dinner.  They are open late and no one wants to cook a ham on Christmas Eve.

We left the Ton in the car while we ate.  After, on our way out, we decided Ton needed a pup patty so we went to the drive through to get it.  Ty decided he needed a shake and Jack decided he was still hungry to he got another double double and a shake.  Don't want anyone hungry on Christmas.

Great Tradition for Christmas Eve.  We usually go with Michelle's family but they were at their in-laws so we went without them.

Lewis Christmas Party

We had our Annual Christmas Party at Grandma Lewis's house.  We had everyone there except for the people that were out of State.  Hayden and Sierra who live in Las Vegas and Nick who is in Omaha on a mission.

I didn't get pictures of Dinner but did get some of our activity.  We played the pipes and bells along with a youtube.  It was great actually.

We are very serious with our bells.  And our Maverick drinks.

There is our Grandma Lewis.  She gets the best chair all the time.

We had appetizers for dinner.  Which was a big hit.  We had smokies wrapped in bacon, Spinach dip, a few other dips, veggie dip and lots of cookies.  Win.

Here's to another great party.  Always fun to see all the people I love and don't get to see all the time.
