Valentines day and the Jazz

This is my new treatment for pain.  Marlena told me about it, so I bought it.  Jack was suppose to get some in Cedar City and I gave this one to Brooke for her foot pain.  It is pretty good.

Awe Abi and Brody love

I was out of town for Valentine's day so I left this for the people left at home.

Jack's pic with a filter background.

This is the Valentines day I sent to someone a few years ago.   Look how cute.  I was creative

Nick went to the Jazz Game with his friend Ben.  Look what great seats he has.

Stella's Valentine

Abi rocking it on the Driving Range in Arizona.

I got home from Death Valley and Jim was over at our house. We decided to get a Maverick and a Starbucks drink.  Andrew got drinks from BOTH places.  Seriously...?

Death Valley Golf

Headed out of town to Death Valley.  We were going by way of Tonopah, but it was super snowy and I couldn't go that way with a Winter Storm Warning in affect.  NOT responsible so we headed South by way of St. George and Vegas and Cedar City.  We stopped and had lunch with Jack.  He was super excited to go to Cafe Rio.  He didn't have class that day.  He showed me his sore ankle.  It looked super sore.

After we arrived in Death Valley, we headed to Golf.

Here's my new golf shoes.  I ordered them, and took them back, then ordered them again.  Decided I needed to keep them.  I ended up really liking them.

We golfed with Doug.

We golfed with Kent

More Doug

Beautiful on the course in the lowest place on Earth.  Weird they can have green grass when its so hot and lack of water.  Fun fact, the course sits on a natural spring so that is what waters the grass.

Cyotes are on the course.  They looked a bit lanky a few years ago, but these looked healthy and fat.

Lynne

I didn't get a pic of our friend Barb.  She only went one day with us.  Super beautiful weather.  75 Degrees.  Who gets to do that in February?  We had mostly bad food but super fun.

Can't wait to go back next year.

Jack played LaCross in Arizona this weekend.  The first game was in Flagstaff and the second was in Phoenix.  Abi got to go since she lives in Phoenix.

And jack scored a goal!!!  Defenders don’t usually score so way to go !!

This and That

                                                    Cleaned out my sock drawer.

Look at all those brand new socks I have.  And I don't like those so much anymore.  I have an ENTIRE drawer for socks and I only wear some of them.  I'm into Stance and Vuori socks and Under Armour sometimes.  I got rid of over 25 pair of socks and mismatches just from the drawer.  AND the drawer is still full.

Went to Sunday Simulator.  I didn't do very well.  Gotta dial in my game.

Had dinner at Cracker Barrel.  I got the pot roast.  NEVER in my day did I think I would get the Pot roast.  It was SOOOO good.

THEN they have a take home meal for 5.00 and I got the meatloaf.  Yes the meatloaf.  Weird again.  I took it home and froze it.  Their meatloaf is super good too.

Went and got a pedicure with the Kent.  I told him he needs to have someone that is a professional do his toes.  Old men get to that point.   We went to Sparkling Nails in Centerville.  It was a new place for me.  It was easy to schedule online and check in when you get there.  I like that about it.  The guy was good.  However, he made my nail bleed and it still hurts. It was good though so I'll probably go back because the scheduling was super easy.

Love the missionary Ton.

Before Jack's Opening, I had Parent Teacher Conference.  Brooke and Andrew came to visit me and brought me a nice fresh Maverik drink and some Maverik cookies.  They are the best cookies.  So thoughtful!!

AND I noticed this when I looked online.  Our next Missionary Jack Clemons.  He was listed BEFORE he got his call.  So I knew the call was soon.

Alaska Anchorage Mission

Jack came up from Cedar City to open his mission call.  He waited two days and now he is going to serve in

                                          Alaska Anchorage Mission

We had lots of people show up.  I was surprised that the door kept opening and more and more kids came in.  I didn't think they would come because I would have thought they were graduated or off to school.  Nope, they came.

This isn't even half of them

Ty, Stella and Paula

This was during the prayer.  I should have not taken a pic.

Andrew and Marti

Jack and Theo

Jack, Theo and Brooke

They are trying to figure out where Alaska is...

We had cookies from Sam's Club and goldfish and fruit roll ups because they are Jack's favorite.  And water because it was easy.

Jack Reports to the home mission May 19.  Then enters the MTC om May 28.

Can't wait for him to Rock Alaska and go and be awesome.
