Golf Lesson and a New Hotworx

 Andrew decided he needed a golf lesson.  He called my bud, Mike Bicker, the golf pro at  Sun Hills.  I took some lessons from Mike last year and he was the best.  I joined Andrew with a lesson from Mike.

This is the only pic I got.  Mike took some video footage, so maybe I can post that when he sends it to us.  He was such a great teacher.  I feel bad because I'm not a good golfer and it's not his fault.

Dying after yoga and Elliptical

McCall asked if I wanted to go to Hotworx with her and Kristen.  I changed to North Salt Lake Location so we can go to the same location.  She signed me up for a Hiit class on that elliptical thing THEN a Yoga class.  WHAT?  Seriously I just do Yoga and then a resting class.  

I did rest in Yoga while McCall rocked it.  

Tonight we are scheduled for a Warrior class.  I'm not sure if I'll make that !

Saturday

 Saturday started with a trip to the Hotworx.  I don't get a lot accomplished but I did get to rest and settle my mind as they say in the sauna.  I love settling my mind.  

Quick trip to Costco and getting Nick some of his Chicken he likes. 

I get home from the Costco and Andrew comes to the garage and asks me if we are all driving to Church Basketball together.  So we head to the church.

Waiting for it to be our ward.  I sit further back because I don't want the ball or the players to hit me as they come up for a layup

That is Shawn.  He is our favorite in our ward.  He apologizes when he fouls and shakes their hand to make sure they are ok.  What a good sport

Game over.  Jerry had to give back his penny.  He was wearing all white.  So versitile so you can go straight to do a session in the temple after )

Basketball on Saturdays. 

SUU and stitches

Jack played a LAX game on Saturday against Montana State.  I didn't make it to this game

McCall went down to Cedar City and watched Jack.  I think she was on her way somewhere but stopped to watch.  

Jack calls me and asks me if he needs stitches.  Well, not sure but better go see.  

Here's the call I got after Instacare.  Yep he needed 4 stitches on his chin.  He said he hit a kid, and then his chinstrap came off and cut him.  

He seems to have survived.  He is good to play still just don't get it wet.  He was so brave.

It has Started

 It has started.  Started Jack's Mission Shopping.  He likes the suit he has from Kohls so decided to get him another one in a different color.  It fits well, and doesn't need altering.  Just buy it and wear it.

Had his mission consult for the Wisdom Teeth.  Mark doesn't have anyone to do it at his office, so we had to go somewhere else.  Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Bountiful.  My friends boys went there  They are trying to get us to use Exparel and PRP.  Not sure if we will but thought it might be good.

I saw this posted and it is one of my favorites.  They didn't finish it, but Jack needed to submit his favorite for his mission plaque.  Not sure which one he chose, but the above is a good one.  :)

I got this text from him last night. I'm not a fan of knowing that the car does well in the snow.  He shouldn't have been driving.  However I was glad it did good.

This is the shower curtain in the bathroom downstairs.  I don't usually use that one, but I noticed this when I did.  Reminded me of Jack.  There's Alaska right there!  

Going to miss him so much.  

I don't think Mother's were the ones that suggested our boys go on Missions...:) 

SUU vs Lobos

 

Headed to Cedar City again.  We didn't go to the Friday game because of the Church ball game on Saturday.  Also, we didn't want to stay over for two nights.  

Jack scored a goal on Friday that we didn't see.  

Sunday the game was at 10:00 am.

We had to leave our house at 6:00 am.  Our first Stop, Maverick, and we drove in the stall at 5:59 am.  We were ahead of schedule.  

Got the drinks and Nick said a prayer 

Cheering crowd.  This game was MUCH warmer than the last game that was 4 degrees.

SUU best the New Mexico Lobos.  16 - 0.  It was great to see Jack play.   

We got some Panda after, checked out the golf course for next time and we were headed home.  

I think he has a week off and then he plays again on March 15.
