Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday started out in church.  We had church for one hour.  Just like Christmas when it is on a Sunday.  I think the church is trying to get Easter to be as important as Christmas.  It was just music and was good.

I'm getting ready to lead the singing.  That is a horrible pic of me.  What a stupid grin.

This is my view from the Stand.  That lady with the Red Tuft of hair on the top makes her look like a rooster.  She isn't even in our ward, but she has come before so she comes for special occasions for someone.  The guy with the long hair looks like Nick when he had long hair.  He is in our ward.

Jack and Nick's friend Josh, said the closing prayer.  I think Jack wants a suit like his for his mission.

Went to grandma's house for Easter.  We had Ham, funeral potatoes, salad and strawberry shortcake.  It was great.  I didn't get any pics.  We then had an Egg Hunt.  McCall was in charge.  We didn't have any kids besides Theo who is 2.  McCall decided to hide the big kids bags with eggs in them.  So you had to find your bag.

Ty and Trey

McKenna and Brittany, both about to give birth soon

Stella in the stripe

Mitchell was in charge of hiding that bag.  He hung it on the powerline..

Mark and Nick threw a ball to try and get it down,

They were successful actually

My bag was behind that tree that Brooke is getting for me

Great party.  Everyone was there that lived here except for Luke who was not feeling good.
Abi and Brody live in Arizona, and Grace also lives in Arizona.  Oh Blake and Micaela had to go to Micaela's mother's house.

Easter Egg Hunt for the Ton

Brooke and I went to the Easter Egg Hunt for Dogs at Wheeler Farm.  First thing we did was check in.  We got TWO goodie bags because I bought two tickets. We only needed one however.

We went to the Egg Hunt area.  You are allowed to get 6 eggs for your dog.  We got 12 since we     bought 2 tickets

Ton was a good Egg hunter.  He didn't quite know what to do at first.  Then he got the hang of it.  They had some dog treats inside.

Got a pic with the Easter Bunny.  It would be a good Gig to be the Easter Bunny because they don't talk. Just sit there.  I'm all in

We then took a hay ride.  It was really a ride in a wagon trailer behind a tractor around the farm.

Andrew and Lily came for a bit.  They went on the hayride too.

Found the other Easter Bunny.  They just sit there too.

Walked around the Farm after the hayride.  This turkey always makes me rethink Thanksgiving.  They are soo Yuck.

This is a pig which makes me rethink Easter.  We are having Ham.

Great time at the Egg Hunt.  Ton cooperated soo well.

Jack does a final project for Film

Jack has been home having his wisdom teeth out.  He needed to make a film for his Film Class as a Final.

This is his final project.  Nick helped him and I think he has an acting career in the future

Then he sent me this video of him at Cedar City golf course.

Mission help

McCall asked Jack what size shirts he wanted for his mission.  She wanted to order him some of these AndCollar that all the missionaries like because they are stretch and look good.  They are expensive too

She ordered them and hand delivered them to him.

AND McCall and Kristen brought Jack a Keva Juice due to his Wisdom Teeth.  Kristin reminded Jack to NOT sure the straw.  You need to spoon when you have your wisdom teeth out.

Michelle also sent me some money to get Jack some Hurley Pants from the Costco.  Wow Every bit helps  People are so thoughtful.  I need to up my thoughtful game for sure.

Carpenter's Concert

Friday went to the Carpenter's Platinum Concert at Viewmont High School.  They are a band that plays Carpenter's music.  I didn't really know what to expect.  But they were really good.

Went with Heidi and Carl.  Fun fact, Heidi use to work for my Dad years ago.  Her Aunt, Leslie, worked for him for probably 20 years.  Carl is Kent's brother.

Not much cooperation in the picture category but if you don't take pictures, you forget that you did fun things.

I didn't really know what to expect at the concert.  The audience was older than we are.  As you can see behind me.  I knew all the songs they sang even though the Carpenter's really were before my time.  I knew them because of Michelle and Melane who are older than I am.

Michelle actually saw a Carpenter's band at tuacahan and said they were awful.  I think it must have been a different band because ours was really good.  They even sold shirts but I resisted and didn't get one.  They weren't that good.  :)

I also donated blood a few weeks ago and got some free Jazz Tickets for the SAME night.  I gave the jazz tickets to Nick to use.  I wanted to go to the Jazz too.

Hike and Driving Range

Michelle and I decided to go on a Hike on Saturday.  She was suppose to be out of town, but she had court and couldn't get away.  We went to the Draper Suspension Bridge.

It is a great hike.  It is about Two miles and parking is easy so we didn't have to get there super early like when we go up the Cottonwood Canyons.

I have been feeling so good, that we went to the further bridge.  I haven't done that for a long time.  I usually rest while everyone does it.  NOPE not today.  NOT next time.

That's the creek that runs up there.

Proof we made it.  This was after we went to the further bridge.

Then we hit hit the driving range.  Michelle is really doing great.

We went to Del Taco on our way back.  We are such partiers and got a Mcdonald's drink before we drove and checked out some houses and she gave me some chicken salad.  Yep I wanted it.  We had such a great time.  We are scheduling another one before my foot hurts again.

This is our cousin's son, Trevor.  I thought you might mix them up with us on our hike.
