This
week was pretty mid again. Our area seems to be slowing down but we have been
trying to do our best and working our hardest to find those ready to hear the
gospel. We had a couple lessons this week though that went really good. But
let's get into the week!!
1/27:
we had DC today so that was cool. Seeing the other missionaries is always super
fun. We had zone lunch afterwards and that was also a blast. We did a lot of
stop bys afterwards and then and then had some good dinner at our members
house. Kinda awkward but it was pretty good.
1/28:
we had a lesson with our friend wess today we honestly just discussed the
gospel and what it actually is. We talked a lot about the book of mormon and
invited him to keep reading it. We then had dinner at the Polynesian ladies
house. This time was good food so that was a shocker
1/29:
we did weekly planning today and pretty much called our whole area book cus we
are so desperate. We then did some stop bys and ended up helping a member move
today. We got a text from a guy who said we can teach him so we hustled over
there afterwards and had a pretty good lesson.
1/30:
we had exchanges today so I went into another area which is always cool to just
see the other areas. The guy i was with is definitely a slower worker. We had
dinner and he got mad cus I didn't wanna break the rules with him so he was a
little angry about that. But it was a good day overall.
1/31:
we went tracting today in the morning for a little bit. We then took lunch and
got told the zls were coming with us on exchanges randomly. So we did that and
I was with an old comp Elder Rhoades. We had a lesson with our friend Tammy and
that was hecka powerful.
2/1:
Jeff came to church today! So that was a cool miracle! We went home and had
lunch. Went and had Correlation meeting with the ward today. While we were at
sacrement meeting a member found anti in a grocery store bathroom and gave it
to us cuz he thought it would be funny. It was honestly such a wild story lol.
We also had dinner with them and it was hecka good.
Spiritual
thought: I was reading in exodus when Moses is getting called as a Prophet and
I think it was cool because he didn't feel adequate at all. He is also one of
the best prophets we've ever had. It just goes to show when you are called to
do something it's for a reason.
