Graduation for Jack

Jack has had a busy few weeks. He graduated from Bountiful High School.  The gradation was held at Weber State University.

Doesn't look like that many graduates really  I'm assuming for huge schools like Davis or Farmington those seats are all full.

Golden Ginger after graduation dinner.  Too bad Jack wanted to go with his friends.  Golden Ginger is the best.

Jack with his graduation hat on his LAX banner.

Fun event.  Way to go Jack for graduating and making us all proud.  That is a wrap on High School graduations for the Clemons.  He is the last one.  Can't believe we made it.  It was a fun ride.

Jack is working at  Eaglewood Golf Course for the summer then headed off to Southern Utah University for school and to play LAX.  You will rock it.

LAX Banquet

The Bountiful High LAX  Banquet was last night.  Brooke went with me as the dad.

Earlier Jack had the Senior Banquet at the Layton Converence center so he was coming late with his buds.  He changed into that polo shirt that says Braves on it.  They are now the Red Hawks.

The coaches gave awards for some of the players.  Jack got the award for Most Improved Player.  (sounds kindof like a participation award)  But wait...

That's Jack hugging...:)

Pete, the coach, said that he will be telling Jack's story for years. He said Jack wanted to play the Jr year and showed up.  He was a starter and lost the starting position.  He spent the off season, working and working and wanted it bad.   He showed back up for Senior year and was ready and EARNED the starting positon.

He started EVERY game and played every minute of every game except when he had a penalty.  I wonder if that counts as playing time...:)  Or when they were ahead and they swapped out the other guys.  I knew when the coach started talking that it was Jack.  He rocked it.

Centerpieces that were so cute

Not sure who this kid in the back was.  I think Jake Terry..:)

Such a fun season and 4 years.  I will miss seeing him play for the Red Hawks.

Senior Night for the Choji

It was another beautiful night at the LAX fields.  It was in Farmington tonight. It was also Senior night.  We held it at Farmington because the Bountiful High Fields are being renovated so we didn't have a home game this entire season.  It wasn't that bad actually.  It was fun to go to all the different fields.

Jack wasn't having any more pictures

Jack Clemons #7

The parents and lax players walked on the field and then walked through the boys line up and through the balloon arch.  As you walked the announcer read a bio about the kids.  This is what they submitted about Jack.

Jack plans to attend college at SUU and play LAX.  He has enjoyed hanging out with the boys after lacrosse games and scoring a goal against Farmington his freshman year.  Choji also loved beating Woods Cross all 4 years and has loved how this team has become a family and are always willing to work hard for each other.  But most importantly, Choji cannot wait to marry someone rich and hot.

Kasen Ute Paxton #33

KK is looking forward to serving a mission in Guatemala and having to wake up early every day.  His favorite memory is when Nick Clemens laid him out and took off his helmet at his very first lacrosse practice ever.  KK is also grateful to  Oakley Jensen, her sisters, and her mom for coming to watch all his games.  He is pretty sure they were there for him and no one else. Sorry Brandon. He would also like to give a shout out to his beautiful mother and handsome father for always supporting him and bringing the snack bag.

So KK's bio is funny because he mentions Nick Clemons taking him out.

Kyle Nielson #31

Kyle is excited to serve the people in the Argentina Rosario Mission.  He  also cherishes favorite memories of his 30-point church ball game, KK getting laid out by Nick at his very first practice and Covey hitting a three peat.  He will miss all his friends but knows he will make many new ones since he plans on becoming a Professional Rizzer before settling down to start a family.

Kyle also mentions Nick taking KK out.
