Braves soccer

Abi made the Bountiful High Soccer team. She is the keeper so she is always wearing that green jersey. Here are some pics of her games.  Some I took and some I didn't. Its fun to watch her play.  Every time she goes down for a save, I get a little paniced thinking she will hit hear head again on the goal post. So far, she's been good.  There was one close call but she didn't hit it.

Andrew turns 17

Andrew decided to grow another year older and turn 17.  We had our usual party for him.  He came home from football to have Duggar Dessert (this ice cream sandwich dessert that we love).  He didn't want dinner or anything because he went to a football dinner.  He is such a good boy!

Bountiful High football 2015

Andrew is playing football this year for BHS!  He has worked so hard all summer at conditioning every day.  It was from like 7 to 11 each day, then in August, it goes to 'two a day'.  They practice in the am, and then return in the afternoon for another practice.  Its amazing that they have that much to say to them or practice.  He is #61.  I have to look for his cleats to make sure it is him.

He plays on the JV team.  He has had three games soo far.  Lone Peak, Viewmont, and Syracuse.  I have only been to the Syracuse game so far and he had tons of playing time in the Viewmont and the Syracuse game.  He did hurt his wrist in the Syracuse game.  He got it taped and he said it was much better.  Football is the greatest sport.

Football 2015

Jack and Nick are both playing football this year.  Football is every night and its hot and sweaty, especially when it starts the end of July.

We have played two games soo far.  I have been assigned to take Jack.  Both times he played Alta.  He has been playing great this season. (for the two games).  He got an interception in the very first game.  The second game, he tackled a bunch of times.  He also sacked the quarterback, and recovered a fumble on a punt return.  It was called back though.  Not sure why but thats cool too.  He did have an episode where he was on the ground hurt.  He and another kid collided.  He also hurt his wrist but he seems fine today!

Mark and Stella came to watch last week, and Michelle, McKenna and Grandma came this week!

Jack has made Clemons history this year.  He is the first Clemons to NOT have to wear an "X" on their helmet.  If you are over the weight limit, then you have to play on the line and have an X on your helmet.  Jack didn't have an X last year, and didn't this year either.  We have had the scale in the kitchen so he weighs himself all the time.  I have not taken part on using the scale however!  The weight limit was 85 pounds for Jack's age division and he was I think about 80.And this year he is the first one to NOT play on the line all the time.  Its fun to watch him.

he is 21

its hot.  Had to take my shoes off

Stella and Brooke watching in the heat.  Mark was there too, but he had to leave

he is hte last one on the line.  I think

in the back.

Back to School Dinner Part 2

So, school didn't start last week, so Sunday, I decided we would have another Back To School Dinner.  We had another fabulous dinner.  We had lasagna, garlic bread, and salad.  It was delicious.  Then we had our favorite dessert again.  Chocolate pudding pie.  Crust on the bottom, chocolate pudding next, and then cream cheese on the top.  Delicious.  Then another thing, cool happened.  Rick Benztgen a member of the Bishopbric texted me and offered to come over and give each of them a Priesthood blessing to help them all with the school year.  He is also the one to Ordain Andrew to a Priest last year.  I'm appreciative for Covenant Keepers.

First day of School 2015

First day of school is always Bitter Sweet.  Its fun to have a routine again, and get to see all the friends, but sad because summer is over.  All the fun and just not having to go anywhere is behind us.  I think about that the next time we are care free everyone will be a year older.    Brooke is in her second year of college at Snow College in Ephraim.  Andrew is a Junior, Abi is a Sophomore, Nick is in 6th grade and Jack is in 4th grade.  I am still in the 7th grade.
