This and That

Golfed at Bonneville last Tuesday. Here's my besties for golf.  We were missing our other bestie Kim who had to work.  Maureen, Victoria, Sandra and Jenn

We did a goldfish activity at school called Tragedy of the Commons.  It was fun and we had tons of Goldfish which is always a hit.

Night at Hale.  We saw Hallmarked and it was in the new Theater.  It was about a 5.5 out of 10 but it was fun to see something different.  Marlena got cut off in the picture.  Glad Marti is there alive after his heart attack.

We also dissected Sheep hearts at school.  They are a pain but very cool.  Itis always high interest and high management.  Love it but glad it is over.  I'll miss it in 4 years when I retire and sit at home all day

Been to the hotworx and took my preworkout as Nick calls it.  I have new shaker bottles.  They are called Blender Bottle and I love them.  I saw them at the Target and had to try them.  They work so well and don't leak.  Love the colors.  Great for preworkout.

Here's Stephen Smith at the hotworx.  He is trying to be soo cool with his perfectly combed long hair and cut off shirts.  Love his Hotworx but he is too much.  This is a new video

Love the Abi and Brody.   They are testing out their water slide park in Phoenix so Michelle and I can go and waterslide in the summer.  Can't wait.

And finally, sitting with God in my Golf sweater.  Get there early to sit with Him.  It is a great idea to sit and listen to the Organ Music.

It is May the 4th, and I'm at school wearing my May the Forest be with You.

Trying this out for my hair loss.  We'll see how it works

Blessed week - Jack's email from Alaska

What is up everyone!! Another rainy, cloudy, and windy week in the books here in Alaska. This week was probably the most blessed week in my mission for sure. We found so many new people this week to start teaching and it was awesome! This upcoming week is the last week of the transfer so it will be a good on for sure! Let's get into the week!!

 Highlights:

- One of the biggest miracles was we had a phone lesson with a friend named Ashley who we taught for the first time, she ended up coming to church!

 - we had zone council yesterday and the mission president joined us. We all bore our testimonies at the end and it was a very spiritual moment.

 - we had a good lesson with our friend Rodney, he's goin thru it with the drugs and stuff. We didn't plan on it but felt inspired to invite him to baptism. Said he was already baptized so he said no. But besides that it was such a good lesson for him.

-Luke Nichols from the outdoor boys was on a zoom call with us last night

 Lowlights:

- our other friends have slowly been not progressing so we might be dropping some of them soon

 - it's still cold

 - got into a lot of arguments compared to discussions this week with people

 Spiritual thought:

I started rereading the gospels this week. I have almost finished Matthew and I was reading about his final week on earth. When he suffered and died for us and reading it I have just come to realize how blessed we are to have the knowledge of the atonement. To know Jesus Christ loved us so much he suffered for every single one of us. I also love how in this Jesus says in Matthew 26:39 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

He showed us what aligning our will with God is and how to truly be humble. That is the best Gift I've been able to see on my mission is the power the atonement has on all of God's children.

Send me an email! Love hearing from everyone!
