10 pm and the sun still out - Jack's email from Alaska

This week was pretty cool not gonna lie, I got my new comp and I love him hes hilarious. This has been the funniest week of my life for sure. We realized we both worked at lagoon in 2021 in the same department so I've definitely ran into this guy before being mission companions with him.  Anyways this week was very blessed. We had a lot of lessons but not a ton of people showed up to church so that was an L highkey but thats okay. I hit a year tomorrow which is absolutely insane to me.

 Highlights:

-we had a media referral come in named Paul and hes native and we had a lesson that was good.

-its daylight til about 11 30 now here which is crazy

 - our friend Evan came to church that was good

-my new comp is an absolute chilla

-we had a fire lesson with our boy tyler

 Lowlights:

-none of our other friends showed up to church

-we weren't able to really talk to a lot of people this week

-some of our friends apparently still dont know how to answer our calls smh

 Spiritual thought:

This lady at sacrament gave a talk and talked about the anti Nephi Lehis putting down there weapons of war and related it to things that slow us down from growing. She asked "what are our weapons of war that we can put down" i have been pondering this ever since I heard it and I think one of the biggest things is to be the best example and to love others.

Jack needed some extra money to go to Texas Roadhouse.  His companion did too.  Look at that slab of beef...Glad they actually went and had at least a salad.

First Date...so funny
