Orienting at Dixie State

Abi needed to go to Orientation at Dixie State the day of my dad's funeral.  So we had to reschedule. We rescheduled for Aug 9.  We passed through Cedar City on our way down, and picked up Andrew.  He decided to party with us.  We checked into our Hotel,  Days Inn...It was ok and Abi had a job interview at a Physical Therapy place.  Then we went and took a swim in our hotel pool.  It was ok...old but ok.

Then Abi suggested we go to the County Fair  Yes, the Washington County Fair.  It was GREAT fun.  We saw a Bird show that was super hot in temperature and we were dying.  We walked around and decided we needed a snow cone...Shaved ice is probably the more correct term.  I got a Shark Bait one I  think.

It was super good, notice on top is red with two sour patch kids and then the bottom is blue, with that gummy shark sticking out.

After our Shark bait snow cone, we decided to go to the Shark show.

It was this trailer pulled behind a semi truck that was an aquarium with these Nurse Sharks in them.  That is the host of the show in the wetsuit.

Here he is getting ready to get into the tank with the sharks.

See how the front lifts up to show you the sharks

There he is in the tank telling us about sharks.

Really it was the highlight of the fair.

Andrew and Abi leaving the fair

It was great fun.  Super hot but fun.

The next day Abi had to be at Orientation at 9:30.  So, she went to that, and Andrew and I went and catted around.

We decided to get Andrew his first pedicure.  I loved mine as usual.  I got pink polish and he opted for just clear coat....

We shopped

And thought about getting this shirt for Nick for school.

It was time to get Abi, and we took a trip to Financial Aid

to see what happens when one parent doesn't cooperate for FAFSA.  We got a solution to our dilemma.  Knew we couldn't be the only ones to have that situation!  We also got a T Shirt.  We also found out that Abi's roommate has a cat!  Cannot live with a Cat...so we got that changed too!  We are NOT cat people.  It was time to go home. Andrew decided to come home with us and then go back to Cedar when we come down next Friday to take Abi to school for real!  Super fun trip!
