This
week was actually so fire not gonna lie. It was hecka long too but also so good
at the same time for sure. But yeah I hope everyone is doing well at home or
wherever they are. Let's get into the week.
Tuesday
3/17: we had district council today and all that. We did practices that were
buns but chill I guess. We had dinner at this families house and there kids
were always screaming and doing all that extra stuff so that was driving me
nuts. We knocked the rest of the night and nobody answered.
Wednesday
3/18: we got to go to the temple today so that was much needed. We went to
cane's after too so that was actually so fire today. We talked to a guy named
rodney and he was smoking as we were teaching him and said he'd love for us to
come back. It was a good conversation he seems to be missing something in life.
But good for him I got a message that could help him out. Also shoutout to the
youth from foxboro 2nd ward for the letters!!
Thursday
3/19: we had a lesson with this older couple today and that was chill. One of
them was Baptist and the other was catholic. We talked about original sin and
she said "we don't believe in that, that's why we baptize kids when they
are infants" like bro what? You literally just proved my point that you do
believe in it. But we invited her to read the book of mormon and she said she
would.
Friday
3/20: we had a lesson on the porch with our friend marissa. We talked about the
temple and how that is our goal for her. She said it's something she's
interested in for sure. So that was good, we went to stop by this other lady
only to run into this guy named levi. He was super nice and handed him a book
of mormon and said we can come by and talk with him.
Saturday
3/21: probably one of the longer days I had this week. 7 hours of finding isn't
the funnest for sure. We knocked and knocked and knocked and nobody answered or
even wanted to talk to us. But we talked to one guy named Rian. He was the
nicest guy and he said we can come by next week and have a lesson wjtb him.
Maybe that 7 hours of finding was worth that 1 interaction with him.
Sunday
3/22: we had church at the branch we cover and that's like an hour drive so
it's a long but super beautiful drive. We had break the fast afterwards so that
was hecka good. We came home and did our studies. We then had a member meal
which was fire. And then we had our lesson with the mission president so that
was good.
If
there's one thing this ward is helping me with it's patience with kids. Cuz I
swear everytime I go to a member lesson or member meal. There are kids
screaming or crying or not listening to their parents. Like Bro jus listen to
ur parents. But yeah that's something that's been frustrating for sure.
