4th of July Celebration - Stadium of Fire

4th of July was uneventful during the day.  I didn't golf like I usually do.  Instead I headed to Stadium of Fire at BYU.

It was Brad Paisley as the musical guest.  He isn't my first choice.  I listened to him before hand and I didn't know his music but I love country music so it was good.

Stadium was full

Gentry sang the National Anthem.  Love them.  They are our favorite performers from Hale Center Theater.

We had some motor cycles, and dancers and awards.

Brad was the singer
This is the other Brad I went with.

Fireworks were fantastic.  Better than I have ever seen before.  I didn't take any pics cuz I usually make fun of people taking pics of fireworks.  Like when do they want to look at them again.  But they were really great.

This is what I decided to wear.  I didn't wear the belt.  Brooke said I look like a sailor so I am taking it back.

Abi and Brody went to the Diamondback baseball game on the 4th and Brooke and Ty went to the Bee's game.  Ty also went to a reinactment at the Freedom Festival in Provo of the Declaration of Independence.  He loved it.

Sunday night July 5 we went to the Ed Kenley Amphitheater for a free concert.  It was something like 60's music abou protest.  It was ok but fun to go and be with Andrew and Brooke.  We forgot our Ranch Salad that a guy was eating last year and it was super hot and smelled HORRIBLE.  He was so proud of himself because it was 4.00 from the Winco.  NOPE. YUCK.  So good no one was eating a ranch salad.

Great weekend.  Best part is no fireworks in the neighborhood since it is so dry.  Governor Cox banned personal fireworks.  Loved that part.  Happy Birthday America.  250 years.
