Nick has started with the home MTC. I am not sure why that is a thing, but we are doing our best. He gets up and puts church clothes on, then does zoom and more zoom and more zoom. He does it at home or at Gma house. She has softer chairs he says.
This is his first day. We stopped by Gma house to watch Brooke mow the lawn on our way to the Distribution store. He had P day the first day so he only had a few zoom calls.
I get to be his companion most of the time.
Later in the evening he had a devotional. I had somewhere to go, so he is getting dropped off at Gma house. She was his companion for the evening.
Yes the mission allows for Holiday drinks. He needed to get through the zoom meeting. . .:)
The second day at the HOME MTC. Andrew took his desk to Gma house and Nick stayed home for the morning. He had to improvise and use the old bed for his desk. No wonder he wants to go to Gmas.
I still need to get him a bag, and not sure which one he wants or what. I know we are late to the bag idea, but he doesn't even care what he has.
Home MTCis kindof a strange thing. He is rocking it so far. He does go to the gym during his afternoon break. He goes with Andrew or his friend Curtis picked him up the first day.
He does look sharp in his church clothes every day. Probably because they are all new and his white shirts are really white. He is rocking the mission so far.
Maybe it is easier for mothers to drop them off at the real MTC after they have had a week of missioning at home.
