See You in Two

 

Today was the day.  Nick gets dropped off at the Missionary Training Center (MTC)  This day came so fast.  

We got him packed last night.  We bought him these two big suitcases and he even had extra room.  He has a bunch of medicine to take.  I got him like 3 months so he doesn't have to worry for a bit.  

He is ready to go.  

The last Maverick Drink for him.  We stopped at McDonalds before we left.  He choose 20 piece Nugget and a Large fry.  Who knows when he will eat again.  

We headed for the MTC.  We found it very quickly and followed the signs.  They greeted us to make sure that we were where we were suppose to be and put a sticky note on our car.  We proceeded and followed the signs under the parking garage.

Abi even sneaked into the picture.  Look between Brooke and Andrew. 

And Nick's companion pulled in behind us.  So they walked in together.

Just like that and he is off.  It was just like the airport but no no one yelled at us.  There were people he knew from the Home MTC that he knew when he got there and how great is it to have your companion end up behind you in the drop off line.  Plus when we pulled in there were tons of missionaries waving to us to welcome us to the MTC.  They all looked so cute and young and ready to spread the gospel.  

I have never been to the MTC before.  Not even sure I have driven by.  So, Nick you are on your own to rock the MTC and Omaha.  Well, besides Jesus that is.  He will rock it.  Go be awesome Nick.  Convert people if they want to hear the gospel and work hard.  And remember to come home to your mother.  Not sure I can do two years without him, but I'm going to try.  

Then my cousin Stephanie Sobodka who is called to greet missionaries at the MTC sent me this.  She said she saw my missionary.
