What's good peeps! This week was super fun and went by super
fast! We hit all our goals this week and we're finally seeing progress in this
area. Field club has about 250 inactive members and all the records are just
messed up. After some hard work we've been able to get a few families to come
and clear out about 100 records. So now we actually know who lives in our
boundaries and who needs to pull up to church.
Monday: played some basketball and you already know I was
lights out from the 3pt line. Later we played some volleyball then we went with
our friend Mark to a family home evening class which was really good and they
had REFRESHMENTS! so big dub there!
Tuesday: we were just knocking doors and street contacting
when our old friend Jay called us and told us he just got our of rehab and
wanted to talk to us. So we pulled up and talked about some of his problems and
omg this guy has turned around rehab completely changed him. He's no longer
drinking and wants to start working on some more of his issues!
Wednesday: we knocked lots of doors and talked to about 35
ppl. Later that night after a lesson canceled we puller up to our last door and
they let us share a message with them and they are super elect. There names are
Karen and Lucy. I've been to the house before but I've only talked to the dad
and he just yelled at me but hopefully this time he's changed.
Thursday: we had some dope member lessons. One of them we
got fed and talked to him about prophets and the book of mormon. The other we
went and visited this member at a assisted living center and the entire lesson
was him just showing us his paintings and drawings. Took so long we weren't
able to share a message lol.
Friday: ZONE CONFERENCE!! zone conference was so good!
President Bailey just spits doctrine at us and it's just all so good. He talked
alot about how our mission is good at finding people but not good at getting
them to church. So once that improves our baptism rate is gonna skyrocket.
After that we went and played basketball with some recent converts. We played
basketball with their 12 year old son and we played for like 2 hours. During
one possession Julian the kid took a shot and I swatted it to the moon and
yelled "no mercy on the court" haha.
Saturday: was just a lot of door knocking. We had another
lesson with Jay and a dope lesson with sister Nelson who is this old lady we just
go over every week and this week we taught her about the temple and she said
she wants to go!
Sunday: we had 2 ppl come to church and then spent the rest
of the night knocking on doors. Then we had a sleep over with the other field
club elders and it was lit. We stayed up a lil past bedtime and just
chilled!
