What's up everyone hope all is well with you guys. This
week was a pretty slow week but it ended off really good. We got a referral
this week from the sisters in council bluffs and he is so elect!!
Monday: you know I was Ballin like usual. I couldn't miss until
I went up for a rebound and landed on my ankle so i had to get a quick sub and
then that guy got injured on the next play but then he got a sub and our team
won 6 straight games sooo it was a really fun p day. After p day ended we went
with our friend Mark to family home evening class and had to explain person
revelation to him which was tough but I think he got it
Tuesday: we knocked a lot of doors and nobody was really
interested. We did have a lesson with our boy mark... well if you want to call
It that he basically just complained about his life for an hour and then we
gave him a blessing and left but marks gonna get baptized next transfer which
is so hype!
Wednesday: just knocked all day and no homies wanted to hear
about my man Jesus
Thursday: we woke up pretty sick but we were like
"Frick it we ball" after a quick comp study nap we went to work...
and nobody wanted to hear a message but that's alright because we got lots of
return appointments.
Friday: nothing happened again! We did get our car fixed
though. I think the church needs to invest in some better cars because these
rogues do not work.
Saturday: we drove over to Iowa for a pass off lesson with
the sisters because they were teaching a guy who actually lives in our area. We
had a super good lesson with my Daniel. He is so cool. He loves college sports
so he had to fill me in on whats going on in ncaa basketball but then we had a
dope plan of salvation lesson. We almost got him to set a date for Baptism but
we didn't remember any of the dates in April so kindve and L but he's gonna get
baptized!
Sunday: all week we had been struggling finding people go
teach but on GameDay 3 ppl came through and pulled up to church. It was so
cool! And our boy James came to church and told us he wants to be baptized so
now we are going over later this week and he's feeding us!!! Big miracle!! We
also had the most ppl in sacrament meeting in almost 2 years on Sunday.
Well that was my week! I'm starting to finally see some
progress in this area! Inactives are starting to come back and the people we
are teaching actually want to come to church! We've put a lot of ground work in
the last transfer and a half and it's so nice to see it all come together! Hope
yall have a safe wee!! Imma go ball on some kids. Remember God loves
you!!!
No pics this week:(
