Spring Break 2013

Spring Break .....seems like everyone has gone on some fancy trip somewhere.  St George, California, Mexico, or a cruise.  But we opted today home.....it isnt like I didn't want to go on a trip...we just have no extra money.  Pain.  I did clean two bathrooms and cleaned the carpets on the stairs and in my car.  That was a HUGE accomplishment.  I went to the Dr, and drove Andrew on all his errands.  H is like my worst child for giving me assignments.  

We also golfed a few times, which was the first time for the season.

The boys and I went to the Hockey Game for the Utah Grizzleys.  Had a super fun time.  Had to leave early because Andrew had to go to his friends house. we got some free bags and beanie hats and water bottles.  We should have been going all season.  went to a play called The Odd Couple at Pioneer Memorial.  Went with Michelle, gpa and gma.  Loved it!

Then on Saturday we had a miracle.  Brooke went golfing with us.  Her very FIRST time.  She did great!  we started on the driving range, then decided to go on the par 3 course.  It was  
Great until jack and nick decided to fight.  Jack went after Nick with a golf club...then we lost a club and I had to find it a few holes back.  with all this golfing I am not getting any better.  But fun to make memories and spend time with those that matter most to me!!!

A Bar of Soap

I have been having some signs of restless leg syndrome.  I go to bed and my legs just jolt around for a while.  I dont think it happens when I'm sleeping, but when I'm just getting in bed.  And when I'm watching Grey's Anatomy.    So I found a remedy.  Putting a bar of soap under your sheets.  Yes, a Bar of soap.  So I tried it.  SO much better.  And last night, I was thinking, I think restless is coming back and I couldn't find the bar of soap under the sheets. Have to get another bar and tie it to the bed!

Kimballs porch

My dad went home teaching.  He has 100% home teaching every month.  My mother is the partner.  They were going over to the Kimball's house and tripped up the stairs and FELL off the porch and into the dirt and under a bush.  Mrs. Kimball had to go and get some clippers to cut the bush so he could get up!!!  Got a scrape on the back of his head and hurt his leg.  Otherwise all is well.  Well, other than the bush that had to be cut!

Annie Starring Andrew

Andrew was once again the star of the School play, Annie Jr at Mueller park Junior High School.  He was the FBI agent.  Such a star.  He worked so hard and looked so handsome!

A Clogged Toilet

Well.  I just unclogged the MOSTEST nastiest toilet e.v.e.r.!!  I plunged for 15 minutes this am with no avail.  so, upon returning after school and searching online, added some dish soap, and a bowl full of hot water!  Wait for 20 minutes and presto!!!!  And a cleaner toilet bowl!  Soo proud of my success!!  Can't believe I'm soo smart sometimes.

A Piano Recital

Nick had a piano recital.  He played two pieces.  Scrambled Eggs, and I saw T.  Three Ships.  Such a nice job!  Nick is such a good piano player and a handsome boy!

Treadmilling

So occasionally we go to the workout room at the good old South Davis Junior high.  Abi, Nick and Jack came with me today!  Can't get enough weights!
