Mothers day

Mothers day 2013 was the day McCall spoke in church because she just got home from her mission.  Fab dinner and conversation at Michelle's house after.  Then Jack gave me a trivet that he made in school and Abi wrote me a poem!  Here is a pic of the trivet and I'll post the poem as soon as I get it from her!  The best part was that I got out of teaching Relief Society because I had to go to Michelle's ward!!!  Yahoo!

Lostering

One of my favorite things is to go to Red Lobster.  I have some Red Lobster Friends.  We have been friends for soo long and have been going to red loster for a while.  LOVE the Crab.  I go with my friend Lynne and Janet.  Lindar and Jenn have joined us in the last few years because we are soo fun.  Really there isn't much better than Old friends that know all about you and still love you.  The joke is that we are chemo buds because if you have to have chemo therapy you need a ride and we are buds enough to take the day off work for driving each other to chemo therapy!  actually we had another friend, Gerilyn, that said she would hold our hair back when we would throw up in the toilet...Now that is a friend!  Sad part is she died about 7 years ago when she had a stomach staple.  Two weeks out, she got a blood clot and died.  Love and miss my Gerilynn!  Nothing like my chemo lobster buds!  Really it doesn't get any better than the are!

Another bar of soap...

I have soo many things to post that I decided to post about soap.   I have used a bar of soap For my restless leg syndrome.  Place it under your sheet and it is suppose to help.  Well, I noticed it,was helping.  Like it stopped.(restless leg syndrome was self diagnosed by he way). but then I noticed that I was having some restless legs again...read online about someone else that had the symptoms come back after a while so she changed the soap and got relief.  So I was just laying here and had restless again...changed the soap and it has stopped!  Wow. gotta  b crazy!  But hey price is right and smells good!!

MVP for Nick

WOW!!  nick was the MVP for the baseball game!!  he hit a double, which another guy scored.  he then stole third base.  He got left on third however.  He was awarded the game ball.  Nick is headed to the Major Leagues.

Here is a pic of Marti when he was remodeling his house.  I think he looks just like his dad.  I am  his favorite sister in law.  .  .Really he likes me the most.  He is my favorite Brother in law.  He is a really good Guy!!

Nick has played Jr Jazz basketball this year.  He has done such a great job and LOVED it.  He has improved too.  He practices his lay ups all the time.

 

 

Easter 2013

Easter came early this year.  It was in March.  We had a yummy dinner and the gma's house and a fabulous easter egg hunt.  I think the highest egg finder got $11.16.  I think I need to participate.  Marti had to help hide the eggs this year for gpa.  Last year, he took a chair around with him and rested.  This year, he had Marti help.  So fun.

Brooke is 17

Brooke turned 17 years old!  Wow!  Where has all the time gone.  had such a fun time celebrating.  we went to lunch with Mckenna and Michelle at Zupas.  Then off for some nasty frozen yogurt.  We also had a trip to the Ross ecause Michelle was late (imagine) and got a skirt and a shirt.  for once we didn't get anything for Brooke.  We got home and after Baseball, we had duck cookies that Abi made!  They took her all day and they were soo cute!  we gve Brooke some shorts, a purse and some sandals!
