St. George visit

18 months ago, Brooke bought some David Archuletta Tickets for St. George, Utah at Tuacahan.  So amongst covid, we were still going.  The plan was to just b the girls.  But I didn't have a babysitter for Jack or Nick (not sure what I was thinking 18 months ago) so they came along.  We arrived at the Hotel and went to the pool.  We seemed to like the hot tub better.  It was rather cold in St George.

Here's all my favorites.

There is also McKenna and McCall in that pic.  Those are Gma hands too.

We left long enough to get Cafe Rio for dinner and came back to the pool to eat and sit by the fire pit that McCall and McKenna figured out how to turn on.

The next day we made a trip to Veyo and Jim borrowed McKenna's Chewy mask...So fitting

We stopped at this overlook on our way back from Veyo and looked over Snow Canyon

We got Pie at Veyo.  Its famous for their pies.  I thought the pie was ok...but it was a fun road trip while in St George

This is our 15.00 pie from Veyo.  It was some kindof cream with carmel and butterscotch.  The slice of Lemon we got was much better.  Good thing we have an entire pie that is just ok.

We got to see Abi for some of our trip.  So fun to see her and snuggle with her.

Halloween Party 2020

Michelle had a Halloween party for all of us.  Brooke made sure we were invited.

We carved pumpkins...

Grandma and I have our costume.  I'm Hunter (that Jurassic Park Shirt was Hunter's) and Grandma is Melanie.  (she is wearing Melanie's scrubs that had halloween on them.

Mitchell hanging up the dangling donuts game

Nick is a banana. Marti doesn't have a costume on

Kristen and McCall are carving the same pumpkin and didn't wear a costume.

Ty is a farmer and Brooke is a cow.  Michelle is a witch I think

Love this family of ours

Dangling donuts game.  Always a hit

A slight accident

So, I got a call at 7:40 am this week.  It was Nick he had been in an accident.  I didn't even get into my classroom and I was calling the office saying I had to leave....UGH.  I went home to help him out.  He hit the neighbor's tree.  Not sure how it happened, but he was safe.  The neighbor was super nice and called the police.

The Police came and towed the car.

This is the tree across the street he hit.

This is the damage.  It was Grandma's car she gave to us.  It was a great car.

I did take him to the Hospital to check out his head.  He is out of brain surgery just a few weeks and has a follow up with the surgeon in a few weeks so I didn't want to tell him he got in a car wreck and we didn't check it out.  He does need to work on keeping his legs together when he wears a hospital gown.

I hate all things cars, but glad he is ok because I could never replace Nick.  He has had a bad few months...
