Graduation from SUU for Andrew

 Andrew graduated from Southern Utah University in Cedar City.  He has a degree in Computer Science.  He worked so hard so Brooke and I had to attend.  We were limited to two tickets due to Covid.  I took two days off of school and we headed to Cedar City.  

We got there on Thursday afternoon, and he was still in his final. Brooke and I catted around and shopped at the Ross and TJ Maxx.  That is all the shopping there is in Cedar City.  I did get a new purse at Ross.     

We are on our way either to Graduation or Mavrick.  Andrew had us take loads of stuff home because he was moving home for the next while.  Brooke was a trooper and sat with all the stuff in the car.  That is my old purse...

Andrew looks so handsome.  Glad he dressed up.  I like it when the graduates dress up and don't come in garage cleaning clothes.  

We had quite the experience moving him out.  He had to take his bed apart and get all cleaned up BEFORE graduation on Friday.  So Thursday we spent moving and cleaning.  We had to bring his bed, two monitors, a computer chair, a computer desk, two bins of shoes, Tons of clothes, a Jenga game, a tiger puzzle and two cars full of stuff.  We didn't get his kitchen stuff or food.  

So proud of Andrew. Graduating is so cool.  He is off to do great things.  

Visiting the Abi

 

While we were in Cedar City, we took a jaunt to St. George after Graduation to see Abi.  It was Andrew's day so he choose the Habit for Dinner. (We had already eaten at Cafe Rio)

Great dinner and we sat outside because the weather was so great.  Abi showed us her new shorts from Target. She just started working at Target that day.  

Abi made this photo out of an old photo of them.  It was one of my all time favorite photos of them.  So Cute.  

We went to Zeppe's after The Habit for dessert.  We decided to go there because McKenna had that at her wedding and we really liked it.  It was soo good that we are going to have to go when we are back home.  There is one closer to home.  

Sunday after church and everyone was home and Brooke was back to work at the Hogle Zoo we had dinner.  Fajitas.  I can't remember the last dinner I cooked that all three of those boys were there and All three of them ate them  Jack said it was soo good.  He hated fajitas until yesterday.  I called it Pan chicken....faked nick out too.  He actually ate them too.

LAX is still continuing for us.  We played WXHS.  They are not very good so we won for a change.

 I could just post the lax pictures and say they are for all the games because they all look alike.  I did bother to take some pics at the Bonneville Game so I might as well post them for posterity ...:)

Another loss for Bountiful High but it was only a one point loss and we scored like 6 goals so we are getting better.   The JV game was first, so Jack and Nick conveniently like McDonalds after while they watch the Varsity game.  Gma and I go get it for them. Gma pays of course.  :)  

Got a Facetime Call from Abi during the game.  She said she got a scholarship and is the President of a wellness thing on Campus.  She will need to tell me again so I can update the right thing.  Way to go Abi.  You are a smarty.

A slight mishap

 

I come home from work, and put in some wash as I'm about to leave. I walk upstairs and this is what I see.  Oh and the Boyfriend Ty was there.  They proceed to tell me that Brooke passed out at work.  She fell on the ground in the Small Animal Building (which is totally Yuck) and cut her chin. She was bleeding all over her mask.  

Ty came and picked her up, and took her to Instacare and she got SEVEN stitches.  

Not sure why she passed out, but she did feel weird before it happened.  

Fun fact when she was 2 she had to have stitches in the exact same place on her chin.   

Yay for not getting blood on her Zoo Shirt.  

Bingham LAX

 

Bountiful Played Bingham in Lax.  Bingham is where my sister lives and her kids went to High School so they came and watched.  It was freezing and windy but fun.  Bountiful did lose to Bingham but only lost by one goal.  Which is pretty good considering they lost 20 to 2 in Park City..:)  

Jack and Nick are both out there.  97 and 99.  Jack did get a penalty for an illegal body check and had to go to the penalty box. I think that makes him a bit proud...

Here we all are, Kristin and McCall came but they left before this picture was taken.  Love these people.  I took this photo which I can't believe we are all in the pic...You would think I would have made sure it was more flattering for me ...

THEN at 9:30 pm the doorbell rings...always makes my heart stop a beat...and this was on the porch

Student of the Month

 

I came home from work and this was in our front yard.  I knew it was Jack since he is the only one at Mueller Park Jr High.  Jack said his math teacher nominated him because his third term was his highest grade in math.  Wow.  Way to go Jack.  He did take the sign down two times AND Brooke put it back up twice.  He finally decided it was too much work to move it to the garage just for it to reappear. It isn't like anyone we know will ever see it.

Grandma brought this over for Jack.  Funny her writing on the sign looks like McCall wrote it.  :)
