Grand Canyon

Wedding Day!  We got our hair done, clothes ironed, bags packed and we headed to the Grand Canyon. We Stopped at Jacob's Lake which is where we were staying for the night and checked in.

We headed to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon to check it out.

I don't think this picture is very funny.  Ty needs to behave himself.

We looked around.  It was super cold and rainy at times.  But super beautiful and fun.  We then headed to our destination.  Cape Royal and the reason for the entire trip.  THE wedding.

It was about a half hour back and we got separated traveling to the wedding site.  I was a bit nervous (as always) that I had left them but really, Michelle and Ty had left me. But we all showed up on time to the wedding site.

Heading to St. George

Thursday we decided to head to St. George because someone super special is getting married around there.  We, Me, Andrew, Nick and Jack along with Michelle and Gma, loaded up and ended up at the Abby Inn.  Brooke and Ty came later that evening since she had to work.  The Abby is a good one with a good swimming pool.  We stayed in 220. I always take a picture of my room number so when I get liquored up and can't remember what room, I can look on my phone.

We tried to help with the open house but Brody's mom said they were not setting up that much that night so we didn't need to help. So we headed to the Pool and then to Cafe Rio to end the night.

Got up early and had a good Continental Breakfast at the Abby.

Speaking of the Abby, here is Abi on her Wedding day!!  She stayed with us at the hotel since she  has been staying with her friend Burton on her floor til she gets married.  Plus I love sleeping with Abi.

She got my hair done and Brooke's before we had to leave for the Grand Canyon at ten.

Here's the Emergency For the day.  I felt awful.  Not sure there is enough Emergency for me.

Booster Shots for Some

The Health Department opened up the Booster shots for the Covid 19.  Today Maureen, Marlena, and Nick got an appt to get immunized.  The rest of them haven't had the second dose for 6 months or more.  So off we went.  It was slick this time and we didn't even wait.  It took about 30 minutes total for the three of us to get our booster.

Here's a pic of us.  I forgot to get any pictures or even of our Maverick trip.  Jack decided to come with us because he was bored and probably thought we could get dinner or something after.  Didn't disappoint we got a Maverick drink and some chips.

Here's to doing our part to stop the spread.  I also got a flu shot last week too.

Our B is going to live

Update on B Davis that Brooke and I nursed back to health.  We get this update from Michelle

This is a pic of B CONE free.  Yay she got the clear from the Vet to not wear a Cone anymore.  She looks so cute.

This is what Michelle sent to us.  So glad we could help out.  I let B sleep with my Halloween blanket, got her the soft food and let her have a whole container of it at a time, then let her sleep out of her kennel if she wanted to.  I'm sure that had to do with her healing too.  Cant' wait for her to come visit again.  Got the Halloween blanket all washed and ready for her.

Yay

Nick #76

So, saw this on Instagram.  David has a book about his song My Little Prayer.  I might need to get it since that is one of my favorite songs.

And Jack sent me this.  This is painted on the school for the seniors.  He is #76 for football.  He didn't get to play this year due to his head injury last season. He is out. But he has gone to every game and practice as the Offensive play caller (or something like that)  He has a clip board and does something important.  But here is his number painted on the sidewalk with the Seniors.

Then my friend sent me this pic she saw posted in Instagram.  Thats my Nick in the middle.

And it is now 4

I was driving my Mini Van and I saw this on the dash.

                                                                Then I saw this.

Then I decided it was time for this

Yes I bought a new car.  I have been thinking about it for a while.  I did have 200000 on my Van so I knew it was a matter of time.  However I found this car and I absolutely LOVE it.  It is a Cadillac SVX or something like that.  It is the best car ever.  I should have had a new car years ago but I have so many kids driving and wrecking my cars that I just couldn't do it.

Nick likes to drive the Van now.  However, the Van is short lived because it is making this clicking noise randomly in the dash near the key or steering wheel.  Not sure what that is about.  But so excited for something that I'm not worried to drive or think I'm going to get stuck.

Suggestion if you are going to make fun of me for driving a Cadillac might want to rethink it.  Brooke and Andrew gave me so much S*** about a Cadillac and not getting a Nissan Rogue that they can't ride in it.  We have to take the Van if they go.  Jack, on the other hand, can go in my car because he didn't make fun of me.

LOVE it.  Absolutely do.

oh and now I own 4 cars.  Who would have thought I would own 4.

Wedding Shopping

I am stressed what to wear for Abi's wedding this weekend.  I for sure don't think I'm going to look great, or even better than the groom's mom.  But I want to look decent and not have anyone embarrassed about what I look like more than they already are.  (just ask Nick or Jack about this one)  So I have been shopping and shopping.  Problem is that most stores are online and they take a while to send them.  I don't know what size to get. I know get the big size.  Sometimes there are more than one big size... so here's some that I choose.

Brooke said no to this one. I didn't buy this but I might for school.

liked this too but someone said not for the wedding

Bought this one but might look like a duster

Bought all three of these shoes.  Don't know which is the best

I have all these dresses too.  I have a sweater option for some that I modeled.  I don't know which I think I should wear.  I also have 4 pair of shoes to decide on or wear a pair that I already have.  No one will even know if my shoes are new.  So stressful to me.

This is my meal prep for the week

I also have most of these pics.  I could wear those.  Some I liked and just bought because I found them.  Plus I have to dress the boys and not sure what they are wearing.  I got the khaki pants down and the Vans from Brooke's wedding.  That is easy.  Now for a white shirt and a tie or a short sleeve shirt and no tie.  Either one is probably fine.  It won't matter the next day anyway.

Can't wait for the wedding. It is going to be so fun.  I'm getting excited for a road trip to see Abi and Brody.  I have missed them so much.  I hope I look ok.  :)

Drop Me Off Up The Street Mom

Nick was sick and didn't go to school.  That meant Jack didn't have a ride.  I was the one to take him.  We get to the school (High School)  and I ask him where to drop him off.  He hurries before I turn in and has me drop him off on the street.  Not on the street but UP the street.  He didn't want anyone seeing me drop him off.

So here's my pic of dropping off Jack.  He isn't in there of course.  I had pulled closer to the school and he was walking super slow.

Finally he appears from up the street where I am instructed to drop him off and he is walking with this girl.  Maybe he did know what he was doing after all.

Next time he can take the bus.  :)
