Yay Lax Season has begun.  We are playing at Riverton.  Jack is the captain and here he is in the penalty box.  I think he had a slash

It was a SUPER cold game.  Soo cold.  But the Redhawks played so well.

And They won.  Yay.  We were out of there because it was super cold.  Jack did great.

Ministering at Schneiter's Golf

 

After church (no judgment) we headed to the Schnieters Riverside golf course.  My golf people were playing and we brought Jack and Andrew along.  I got to cart with Jack. I don't think I have ever carted with him before.  

He said he liked my golf friends better than his...obviously.  Jack and I played with Frank and Kim.

Andrew played with Kent, Sandra and Terry.

Andrew decided to walk. I would have but Jack didn't want to so we decided to ride.

Great time was had by all.  Played well and wasn't that cold.  

Didn't get any pic of  Andrew since he was in the other group.  

Primary I had to substitute for my sort of friend.  Here's Jack's favorite lady in the front.  She is the one that put him in a corner in primary because he wouldn't stop talking and Brooke and I were sitting there.  It was 6 years ago AND so funny.  She is a school teacher of course.  :)

Jack and Reflexology

 I introduced Jack to the Reflexology massage at the City Life Massage.  I have been going here for a while.  Not very often but I love it.  He said he wanted to go.  He says he thinks he will hate it.  

Nope, he didn't hate it.  He said he liked it and he liked the hot stones.  He didn't know what that was, but I love that part and the hair massage.  

It was really good today.  I need to remember and go more often.  I really don't need more things to spend my money.:)  It was fun to have Jack go with me.  Abi was jealous because she knew we would get a Maverick drink after.  

Yeppers we did get a Maverick drink after.  Jack wouldn't cooperate but didn't mind getting a drink!  

And it is time for the Lakeside Golf League.  I have wanted to join for a while.  But I don't think I will this year.  Andrew is going to join.

AND the jerseys have arrived for the VARSITY LAX.  Here they are.  Number 7.  Jack had these all spread out on the couch.  I wish they said Braves instead of Redhawks but still they are cool.

New Golf Shoes

                                             I need some new golf shoes...How about these?  

Andrew and I went to the PGA store to see if we need shoes or anything else we need.  I didn't find anything because I don't fit in their clothes anymore.  

I"m waiting for some to be delivered.  Maybe today.  \

Update  So I ordered these golf shoes and returned them 2x  then I ordered them again and I am keeping them.  I actually wore them to the Golf simulator.  I like them.  

Varsity and a Varsity Captain

 Here's the new Varsity Roster for the Redhawks at Bountiful High School.  

THEN I got a phone call from Jack that he is now one of the Captains.  Way to go Jack.  He has worked hard on the off season.  He played for Syracuse in the Fall and has been going to a personal Trainer 2X each week.  Way to pay off!

This is the text I got last night.  YAY!   He picked number 7.  That is the same number as last year.  That way I might be able to remember who he is on the field.  Well, other than the cleats.  

Jazz Game and a Surprise

 Jack went to the Jazz game, because he played Jr Jazz. They get one ticket to the game.  They sit in the nosebleed section but it is still super fun.  I guess they went to dinner with Joe, their coach and Jaxon's dad.

So I got my mail the other day.  ALL this is junk mail.  I usually just sort and throw away on my way in the house.  

However, I got this letter from the mortgage company.  Which I usually throw away because it is just a statement.  However, the IMPORTANT got my eye  (most things say that...haha)

Look what I got.  A Check for 880.00 a REFUND from my overpayment of my escrow acct!  Seriously, I about threw it away.  Who gets a refund.  They also said I had a slush fund of 600.0  Yay.

Church Basketball

Jack and Andrew have been playing Church basketball on Saturday mornings.  

I actually went and watched them this week. These are some action shots that aren't edited or deleted for stupid videos.  I just uploaded them.

That is our bud, Robert in the green shorts.  He lives behind us.  He organizes the sports.

I think they actually won their game.

Pink eye

 Jack wakes up with a red eye.  He goes to church, then someone mentions it to him and he decided we needed to go to the Dr.  We had to go on Sunday after church because we are both busy on Monday and don't have time.  Off to Instacare.  

$50.00 later for the visit we have a diagnosis of Pink Eye.  And a RX for eye drops.  

We filled at Target.  Problem with Target, while we waited, we picked up Jelly Beans, New Underwear (his friend Jenson has this cool underwear and it is some kind of Theives brand that we saw at Target) , and TWO new pair of shorts for LAX.  The $12.00 eye drops we needed turned into like 90.00!  That was some expensive pink eye.

Then he finds out that two other kids on the LAX team have the Pink Eye.  No wonder he has it.  Must be like Ringworm or cauliflower ear the wrestlers share.  That is way worse...

Saturday Jack asks me where his church shoes are.  Well, his church shoes have been his Vans or clogs.  I told him the Vans were in the living room.  He needed the real church shoes because he was going to the temple with Robert.  Robert is our backyard neighbor and the counselor in the Bishopbric.  He is Jack and Nick's BFF from church too.  He is the organizer for Ward Basketball and the Softball team they played on in the fall.  

Robert and Pierce (the other guy) took Jack to the temple to do baptisms.  Then they stopped and got food.  Robert sent me this pic.  So sporty of them.  Really they each have families of their own that they probably needed to attend to on a Saturday.

Then Jack met with the bishop for his Mission.  

Then I was going to buy a shaker bottle for my drink I like.  I found this cup I got free when I bought some shoes.  I'll use that instead.  Gotta make up for my expensive pink eye trip
