Easter 2024

 We had the annual Easter party a week early this year.  Michelle's entire family is going to Zion camping over Easter so we decided to schedule the party a week earlier.  Usually we can't reschedule to meet one person's need but when it involves an ENTIRE family we can.  Otherwise it would be just

Jack helped hide the eggs

This was a spread ...well after we ate so here's what's left other than the Pulled Pork which was on the stove.  Look out the door, and yes there was snow on the ground.  We woke up to Snow on the Palm Sunday.  (I think that is what it is called the week before Easter)

Paula had a craft for us to do.  She works at an assisted living place, River Meadows and she is in charge of the Easter party.  She needed to fill 1200 Eggs for the Egg Hunt.  So we filled these with candy for her. It was a great activity and we rocked it.  I think we filled like 1125 cuz thats all the eggs she had.

Because of Snow our Egg hunt was inside.  McCall helped grandma hide the eggs but everyone had their eggs in a bag and she hid the bag.  That's my bag. I ended up with like 9:00 in my eggs.

Great party and fun was had by all!

LAX vs Brighton

Bountiful Played Brighton Friday night.  It was at 8:00 pm.  That was a late game for this mother.  

It was a beautiful night and Jack played Great.

This is the sky that looked dark but it was actually cool and crisp as my Grandma Stella use to say.

Score 14-3.  It was a rough game for Bountiful.  Brighton was a great team and was super fast.  Their goalie is committed to somewhere to play so it was hard to score.  Our goalie was scored on a bunch but just got pounded with goals.  Thoren did great though.

Bored Teachers

Went with my Teacher buds to a comedy show at the Eccles Theater called Bored Teachers. We watch these teachers online and they are soo funny.  They came to do Standup in SLC.

Lax against East at West

 Lax against East at West:)  This was a crazy game...We had to play across the street from West High School on their Track.  We had to Play East at West.  It was a trip getting parked and in with the Grandma since it is an inner city school and on a busy street.  But we got there.

I think Jack went down.  I wouldn't have taken a pic.  He got hit to the head.  Always makes me nervous wiht a good Head Hit.

Here's the cheering squad.  Grandma, Andrew, Brooke and Ty.  There is also the kid in the velour sweatshirt that is a dress and is sister that likes to do cartwheels and she's a tad thick.  They are our favorites.  They are playing on the Red Track mat.

They lost but it was a good Game.  All got home safe

A Club Surprise

 We have been playing some golf.  Jack has a plethera of clubs from the garage.  He has some of the very beginning clubs someone got for Christmas.  They are Rams.  Like the very lowest quality from about 10 years ago.  (fun fact, they were the clubs I bought for Andrew for Christmas and I had a 30 percent off at Sports Authority.  I had NO money so I was super thrilled.  I took the day off and went and shopped with Michelle).  So, these are Jack's Irons he has been using.  He really does ok with them.

However, I was shopping around on Facebook Marketplace with Kent, and found some awesome Irons.  So we went and picked them up for Jack.  I traded them out of his golf bag 

Here's the new irons.  They are nice and clean also.  They came in a plastic bag cuz the guy we bought them from got new clubs so put them in that bag.  Fun fact.  Anyway, they look great and I'm excited for him to notice them.  

This was Jack's text a few days later.  That's it.  He does want to play golf this weekend with his new clubs.  We can probably do that.  

Fun fact, they had been the bag for about two hours (Jack was gone at a LAX Cabin trip) and Andrew and I go to the store.  ANDREW notices them.  Seriously.  It has been two days and Jack hasn't noticed yet.  We haven't exactly played any golf yet.

Yo whats good everyone! Sorry I haven't written in a few weeks. This email is gonna be super short but this week we had stake conference and we had 2 general authorities come down and reorganize the stake presidency.  

It was a really good stake conference and our friend Angie even got to join us for part of it! Angie is so funny and really sweet but sometimes says some really odd things. The first thing she said to me on Sunday when she walked into the building was "I was going to go snort a line but then I decided to come to church". So that was a pretty cool miracle that we saw this week. All the people we are teaching are suddenly getting sick so plz pray that Darci and David get better so we can put them on date for baptism!! 

The rest of the week we just talked to a bunch of stubborn old people and they really weren't very nice to us so just remember to let your light shine and be nice to everyone because you never know who needs just a smile and a wave!!
