LAX against Olympus

 Played Olympus.  It wasn't great. It was super cold and they beat us.  Jack had a great game as usual.

It was so cold that I didn't get many pictures and didn't get any videos.  It was wet and had been raining so our seat was wet.  Conveniently I brought a towel to wipe off the bench...I'm not a rookie.  

Bountiful lost but they did great.

Spring Break

 

Jack went to California with his friend and his parents.  There were 4 friends that went to the cousins condo on the beach.  In Santa Barbara actually.

They got a little too much sun when they got there.  I think that is why Jack was a bit sick while he was there.  He said he had a swimsuit on in this pic.  

Saturday

 Saturday started with a Church Basketball game.  Andrew played and Jack usually does too  Jack didn't go because he was afraid he would roll his ankle and be out for LAX.  But he went with me to watch...

Andrew is 21

We had to leave early because Jack went to Golf and try out his new clubs.  He said he liked them.

Jack and I then, went to Tribal West to get a new head for his LAX stick that broke.  Might as well get it before the end of the season since it is his last season. 

(yep those are starburst jelly beans empty wrapper.  The best)

While we were there,

I saw this Velour shirt.  I guess the kid that wears his blue velor all the time must have gotten his last year since they are green now...:) 

Then we catted to the PGA Superstore for golf stuff.  No go on golf stuff just some Tees.  Wanted a golf shirt but nope they are just for skinny B@@@@

 

Went to Seussical at Centerpoint.  Such a great show. I hate Dr Seuss but thought it was great.  I haven't seen it before so that was fun too.

Mark and Andrew played some golf on Friday at the Bonneville.  Love some bonneville

Just You and Me

 Jack is going to California for his spring break with his friend Brandon, Mason, Jaxon and Beau I think.

He is going to stay at Brandon's cousin's condo on the beach.  It is a zillion dollar condo.  I wondered why they wanted to take four boys.  Well, he says,"Brandon is the yongest and it is just his parents and him.

Kind of Like it is just you and me mom".  He says.  Yep it is just you and me.  It has been good but I'm sorry about that.  I did my best.  :)

Paid in Full

 A couple of years ago, Nick had a very serious Brain Trauma.  He spent two weeks in the hospital, and most of that in the ICU.  He then had to have brain surgery to relieve the pressure.  I have been paying on the bills ever since.  

This happened today.  PAYMENT in Full.  He is all paid off.   

Such a great feeling to be paid.  Grateful I could pay and he got such good medical care.  

Time to come home from his mission now.

Syracuse - LAX

LAX against Syracuse.  Bountiful high beat the Syracuse.  This was a fun game because Jack and some of the Bountiful High kids played club with syracuse in the fall and some tournaments last summer.  So it was fun to meet them in the High School venue.  

Jack did great.

Another Penalty.  That is pete the coach in black just chatted with the Jack.  

This is the Syracuse coach Jonah.  He was Nick's boss at Holiday Gas Station by our house where I go every day.  We got to be friends with him there and so that's how Jack got about 8 or so BHS kids to play club with him.  He is a great guy.  I miss him at Holiday.

Bountiful beat Syracuse by quite a lot.  Like 15 goals.  Beautiful night and a great game.

Flat Tire

 Jack called me at 12:30 am on Saturday Night.  He was on the side of the road with a flat tire.  He was going West on 500 S.  That is a pretty good place for a flat.  However, it was March and you are not suppose to leave your car overnight on the side of the street.  But we did.

On Sunday morning, it was snowing so I got up, and went to the car and called Roadside for a tire change.  They came in about 30 minutes.

 Here's what we saw in the tire. 

It was a tear in the sidewall.  They tow driver said for sure he hit something....How do you get that kindof rip in the tire by just driving and minding your own business.  

so took to the shop.  Now we got TWO tires so they are balanced and so it doesn't do something with the car...AND need brake pads and rotors on the back.  I'm sure we do, but dang.  It never ends with cars and repairs.  I would rather fix it while the car is there than have to take it back AGAIN.
