Friends and Family at the Vuori

 Brody is working at Vuori.  He was having an event at the store.  Friends and Family.  They had refreshments and you could only get in by invitation.  

It was a fun night and we shopped and shopped.  That bag nick has, we got because we spent so much money.  Not good.  :)  

And I got in the picture 

It was super crowded and Brody was super busy. He was a fantastic help when buying merchandise.           

Sing a Long 2024

 Time for the Sing a Long at the Delta Center.

We arrived at 5:30 and this is the arena about 6:00.  I wondered if it would fill up.  We love to get there early.

Looks like we spent most of the time taking pictures, but we sang and watched the Calvary Baptist Church Choir and John Schmid.  They were good but performed too long.  We wanted to sing.  

Food was a bit lame this year, J Dogs and Chik Fil A were the only options.  We usually get the food half price and had chicken baskets and popcorn and pretzels.  I think next year we will opt to get food after.  We did get a fre swig cookie.  

Great time was had by all.  

McRib, Aquarium, Planet and Snowman

Went to McDonalds the other day and saw this sign. Ty would be so happy.  He loves a good McRib.  Melanie too.  Not sure if there is a good McRib but they like them.  I should try them but they kindof remind me of mystery meat.  

The Abonimable Snowman was on TV the other day.  ALWAYS reminds me of Jack.  He was so scared of him.  

Jack has been home from college.  He was using my computer, drinking my coke and eating my kitkat IN my bed. 

Too snowy to golf right now.  West Bountiful has snow

Jack wanted to go to the Planet with me.  I dusted off my membership and he used the treadmill.

I opted to use the hydromassage after about 4 minutes of riding the bike.  

Abi and Brody opted to go feed the Penguins with Brooke

Thanksgiving Weekend Golf

 
Saturday of the Break, we ventured out for some Golf.  Glen Eagle was open and had carts.  We got a tee time.  Sandra, Kent, Maureen and Jack.  We invited Jack because he is gone and we don't get to golf with him very much.  

We played 18 holes which I don't do that often.  It was cool and crisp and fabulous.  We played the back 9 first, then the front.  It was only super cold the last few holes.  

Gotta get me one of these seat covers.  Mine doesn't fit all the carts like SAndra's does of course.  

Jack and I carted together.  We did have the golf heater but ran out of fuel about the last 5 holes.  It would have been better if we had a cart cover.  That is being ordered.

Great time with Jack.  He is funny and a pretty good golfer.  He was a good sport golfling with us old duffers.  

Thanksgiving 2024

Thanksgiving started out with wanting to Thanksgiving Golf.  Nope.  Course closed.

That is what it looked like at Lake Side.  No go.  So Nick, Andrew, Jack and Brody went to the Turkey bowl at the park instead.  That was better because it was free.  It was fun to drive home from the gym and see all the Turkey Bowls that were going on at all the parks. 

While they were playing football, Abi helped me get all the Food Ready. 

We had 20 lbs of potatos. We probably needed like 5.  

Here's the mexi dip, salad and green bean casserole.  We had lots of all of that left.

Bingo as usual.  Andrew was the caller due to Grandpa dying and Mark not coming.  He did a good job.  Look at that nice spinner thing.

Lots of prizes.  If you notice, lots of them have money taped to them.  There are usually 3 gift cards in there to McDonalds or Maverick. I have never gotten one

After Thanksgiving, we headed over to the Golf Simulator.

I think I was too tired to go.  But the rest of them went to Golf.

Another  great day of Thanksgiving.  Fun fact, we had all the Clemons in attendance today.  That hasn't happened in a LONG time.  Probably like 6 years.  Abi has been gone for at leaset 6 years.

I love having them all together.

Michelle had all her family except for  Blake and his family.

Mark didn't come.  He stayed home with his family.  

 

Duster

 Love me a good Duster.  This is my Grandma Stella wearing her Duster.  My duster love comes from her.  She liked being in her duster around 4:00 pm.  Love that about her.

These are my Dusters I got.  There are 4 here.  I found a great place to get them and I'm afraid they will go out of business so I need to stock up.  I haven't found a better duster than these.

This is Abi's duster.  Brooke and I got it for her.  It has cats on it.  We don't like cats so that is why it is so great.

Brooke got a duster but she decided to leave it behind the door hanging up in the bathrom of her hotel in Boston.  Dang.  It was brand new and patriotic.  So sad.
