jack football against wx

Jack had a great game against Woods Cross.  This pic is from earlier but I like it anyway

That is jack in the middle with the gray long sleeves

That is jack on the right.  The first Bountiful guy on the right.  I got these off the Facebook page that someone's mom took.

He is on the far right looking like he is ready to get someone.  With the red socks.

Abi goes to Homecoming

Abi got invited to Homecoming with Nathanial Rodgers....Rogers with a D.  He was super cute and she looked Beautiful.  Andrew took these pics because I do a horrible job of photo taking.

swollen ankle

Going back to school brought swollen ankles for me.  What a grandma thing.  However, they hurt way bad.  So, Brooke decided I should monitor then and measured the diameter of my ankle and drew that on my leg.  Just like they do in the VenomER show for snake bites.  What a good nurse.

Eventually it went down after tons of lemon water.  Like tons.  I have been good since.

Nick has been sick

Nick has been having these episodes of falling down...He gets up in the am and sometimes falls down...Then he gets up and does it again.  It isn't every morning, but it happened twice in January.  We went to the doc both times and they didn't know what was happening...so we waited.

Fast forward to July, happens again while cleaning the church.  Someone helps him home and calls me to tell me what happened.  We go to the doc again.  Still no answer.  Other than check his blood sugar when it happens.

So, happens again in august.  3 days in August.  Call the Neurologist.  Need some other answers.  Can't get in for two weeks.  She is out of town.  Ok...we are safe because it doesn't happen very much.  Wrong.  It happened the next week 3 of the 4 days.  Didn't happen on Labor day...

Finally the doctor appt.  Described the symptoms...she said she thought he was having seizures.  So prescribed Keppra for him.

So, he takes his Keppra but we need to have an EEG to see what that says.  He is having his EEG after only 4 hours of sleep.  He had to get up at 4:00 am and stay awake.  He couldn't go to sleep until midnight.  So that meant I had to stay awake that long too and then drive to Primary Children's Hospital.  However, we survived and got the test done.

Got the test results back and it came back that he does in fact have seizure tendencies.  So, guess we are on the right track.  Stay on the medicine and check back in a month with the Doc.  No swimming alone and he probably shouldn't be a pilot.

This was his blood sugar on one of the mornings.  He is at normal range according to my friend who has diabetes.  That was not the problem.

Then when I dropped him off at Mueller park the next day, here is the rainbow.  Couldn't help being taken back to Seminary and I will Build you a rainbow song...and filmstrip

Primary Program 2017

Normally I wouldn't even think twice about the Primary Program...but this year It was a bit different.  I was the primary Pianist.  I have NEVER played the piano for church except for recently for this calling.  Really.  Well, I played on Father's day.  It was super scarry.  I was nervous but not as bad as I thought I would be.  I had worked super hard to practice the songs.  I practice at least once a week for a couple of hours. That is a long time to practice 7 songs.  The problem is that we were singing this song called The Miracle.  It is a new song (sort of) but like 4 pages and fancy.  That made me so nervous....But I survived with only about 3 mistakes!!!!  And I didn't even sweat!

So, here's to another year in Primary.  I was told today I am NOT being released so maybe I can learn 7 more primary songs for the coming year.

Jack had a part too.  He did great.

This is my smiling face after the program!  i don't know how to take a selfie obviously

This is a video that Nick took during church - which is against the gospel - of Jack giving his part in the program.  I'm also to the left playing the piano.

I was soo tired from worrying and stuff that I had to take a bath.  I used the bath bombs brooke gave me foer Mother's day.  They are the best !  And they are a flamingo shaped!

That is a mighty attractive leg.

Nick is 14

Nick turned 14.
He is in the 8th grade.  Nick is one fun kid.  He is funny and a good sport.  He keeps everyone laughing and loves sports and McDonalds and CCA (that is where we don't go to school or work and play golf and eat at Texas Roadhouse...After the CCA appt at school).  He is willing to do most things.  We went to Mark's house for a fight that was on some pay tv.  Here is Nick having a birthday cake with them.

We had our birthday party for Nick the next day. He wanted root beer and coke floats and cupcakes.  Ok!  Deal.  We can do that.  He also wanted Costco pizza for dinner.  What a great choice.  He got some Madden game for the Xbox and some clothes.  He liked the clothes the most.

McKenna gets married

McKenna got married on August 18.  It was so fun.  I had no responsibilites except to bring Grandma and Grandpa.  I didn't have to get a new dress or shoes or worry about refreshments.  Just show up and talk to 15 people that I knew!  I can do that.  She got married in the Payson Temple and had her reception at a place called Noah's.  It was super pretty and Michelle did a great job of decorating the place and getting the refreshments.

At the temple.  Grace, Hayden and Paula

Add Brooke to the group

Hayden, Mitchell and gma

Brooke, Grace and Brittney - Mitchell's wife

Brooke

That is Brooke, but look at those trees in the background.  Michelle collected these tree branches, spray painted them white and put them in buckets and added lights.  They were super cool!
