More HUD gone

Today started out at the dentist.  I lost a crown with a bit of the tooth attached so I'm only left with root.  It is the back tooth, so Mark said I could just leave it.  OK!  That is a win in my book.  I might have to have the roots taken out at some point, but for now, I'm going to just live with it.

Then, I changed clothes in the car, (because I knew if I went home, it wouldn't happen) and I went to the Bountiful Temple for a session.  I raced in so I could be on time and get some organ music in.  Got there in time, in my rush, I knocked over my suitcase in the dressing room,  and didn't tuck in my tag on my dress so someone did it for me.  I should have just taken a deep breath and slowed down.  But made it and had a fabulous session.  I am always a bit leary of templizing in the day because sometimes there are not that many people....However today there were about 30 women and 20 men.  I didn't have to participate any place I didn't want to!  Sat for a while in the Celestial room and I have missed that.  I need to make it a priority to go more often.

THEN I cleaned the garage.  Well, I started. I didn't finish yet, but I have eliminated TWO bins of stuff so far.  One of them Christmas.  I don't like decorating so why have so much.  I took out all the holiday napkins I have and put them in the kitchen.  By the time I open the boxes, it is like Dec 24 so holiday napkins don't really work.  I would have to buy some anyway if I had a party because I forget they are in the bin.  I made a trip to the garbage dumpster at my school and dropped off about 5 bags of trash from upstairs and the garage.

Most of this pic was trash or DI.  I haven't been to the DI yet...

This is the garage during cleaning...way too much junk and messy and dirty.  I have three file cabinets in the background.  Started on those today too.  Want to get down to only 2.  One has lots of chili's stuff in it.  I really would want only 1.

More stuff to go, the golf clubs DO NOT go.

This is my recycling bin so far.  That is after an hour or so on the filing cabinet.  Took that to recycling.

Trash still filling just from the garage.

These are my favorite things to post about.  Throwing stuff away.  It really gives me a charge to get rid of stuff.  However, I think it is horrible that we just throw stuff away and take it to the garbage where it ends up in the dump and just sits there forever and ever.  Way bad.  But cleansing getting rid of it.   I am not finished so hopefully I will have about as much more to go!  This has been what I have been doing for spring break.  Not much of a party but so needed!

Also in my quest for getting rid of HUD, I bought another one of those things that get hair out of your drain.  They really are the best.  3.00 at Home Depot...

This is what I got out of the girls bathroom...the second time I used it. It looked like a small animal...There is that white thing which is so fab at getting hair out.

Too Much Hud

During conference I cleaned out my closet with Abi's help.  Let me tell you, I got rid of a ton of clothes.  I can't believe how much better my closet looks and feels.  It is really a cleansing event to get rid of stuff.  For a poor person, I sure had lots of clothes with tags on them.

Add the bags to the two other bags and it is way too much to have...

The sweatshirts are not going, they were just hanging on the door...

and this was from Nick and Jack's room....

I also had a ton of garbage to get rid of.  It is kindof embarrassing...

I hate clutter and mess but I sure seem to have a lot of it...you would think it wouldn't bother me but it does.  I am trying to get my entire life in order....

Atrial Fib - A Miracle

Image result for a FibI woke up today with Atrial Fib.  Which is ironic because I just went to the Doc two day ago and we talked about it and how I should really get evaluated by a Cardiologist.  I said well, it doesn't happen very often and it seems to be under control if I exercise...which I have been doing sort of.

Wouldn't you know that today I wake up at 5:00 am and have a dose of Atrial Fib.  I can tell immediately that my heart is weird.  What it does is beats irregularly, kindof feels like it is quivvering.  Weird thinking about your heart quivvering.  I can't even spell that word.  It feels weird and makes me tired.   I was trying to clean the garage and every time I tried to walk up the stairs it was harder. I could do it certainly but I was a bit tired...So, I took two of my pills.  20 mg each. I waited and tried to sleep for a while.  No relief.  So around 10 or 11, I too another pill.  20 mg.  It kept on going ALL day.  Usually it lasts for a few hours.  It makes me anxious and I keep thinking I could have a stroke...That is a side affect is stroke.  ummm great.  so, I did my thing and all day my chest felt strange and I could feel my heart jumping around.  Plus when I take my pulse it is strange.  Around 5:00 pm I took another pill.  It did slow down so I wasn't as anxious, and the beating changed to irregular.  Which means to me some fast, and then slow beats.  which I think is better?  I am not a doc.  Funny thing I have never known what I do if it doesn't go away.  Do I go to the Doctor or emergency or Insta Care?  And when do I do that?  After 23 hours, or two days or what.

Finally I couldn't stand it anymore and took ANOTHER pill.  I was checking on the internet the dosage and I was still ok...This was around 10:00 pm.  This had been going on for a long time.  So, I let it start to for about 20 minutes then I decided I better pray.  Yes, You read that here.  Imagine.  So, I prayed and said that I was praying to calm my troubled heart and for my family.  And guess what happened?  About 10 minutes after finishing, my HEART is back to normal!!  I can tell immediately that it is beating regular again!  Yahoo.  Strange.  I know it is an answer to my prayer.  NOT sure why I was chosen to have my prayer answered.  Maybe it is a testimony of faith that  how spiritual I could be if I did all the things I am suppose to do?  I haven't had anything like this happen before.  I feel like my prayers are usually not even heard.  But WOW!  A true Miracle.  I am so pleased and elated and blessed that it stopped!  I feel ever blessed!!!  hard to explain but just wow!

Warriors Rugby

We started spring break off with the First ever professional rugby game by the Warriors in SLC.  It was at Rio Tinto Stadium.   Nick is playing rugby now so we decided to go and check it out.  It was a beautiful night for Rugby, and fun to see a new sport that we didn't know much about.

Here we are.  Jack was there but he was hiding from the picture.  That is an awful pic of me but I needed to prove that I was there!  You know, when they say we never did anything fun...

Here Brooke, Jack and Stella are with their food at the Rugby game.  Nick didn't want any food because he wanted to watch Rugby.  Me too.

Conference thoughts 2018

This is a weird post for me....a bit on the spiritual side

Watching conference and had some thoughts.

One of the hymns from Saturday session was 'My Redeemer Lives.'.  It is a hymn President Hinckley wrote.  He wrote the words and his mission companion wrote the music.  Anyway, I LOVE to choose that hymn when I am the hymn chooser for church.  When President Hickley died, the next Sunday we sang that Hymn.  I chose it because I was the Hymn picker and Music Director (doesn't that sound like I know what I was doing) .  During that hymn It occurred to me that it was President Hinckley's testimony of Jesus Christ. My favorite line is

The faith to walk the lonely road
That leads to thine eternity.

LOVE that. So I sent it to someone (my cousin Stephen) saying that it was my favorite hymn and favorite line.  He sent back,
"great and wise line.
That road is lonely for everyone"

I forget that

Then on Sunday, a woman was speaking and I am not very fond of listening to the women usually.  But she said

"Everyone of our paths is different, yet we walk them together."  Reyna I. Alburto   I forget that too. It just seems like I am on the wrong path....but really it is just a different path.

Then someone comments 'on a worldy note, love your skirt'. so I checked it out and it was fabulous.  That is my rule, if I am ever asked to speak at conference you HAVE to look good and wear something fabulous like stunning fabulous.

Easter 2018

The Annual Easter Egg Hunt was a success.  Grandma and Grandpa put on a good Easter Egg hunt.  It has gotten harder over the years for them to hide the eggs so McCall has taken to hiding the eggs.  Its funny because all the grandkids vary in age from 29 to 11 and they are all so into finding the eggs.

We had dinner of Honey Baked Ham, funeral potatoes, salad (I brought), deviled eggs, and then we found eggs.  We also watched the Priesthood session of Conference after.

Stella.  She got that shirt at the DI

Brooke is in the tree looking for an Egg

Those are signs for the people that were not there. Andrew didn't come as he was away at school.  I told him it was at 4:00.  He thought it was on Sunday.  BAD on my part

This is my family's Easter present.  Easter basket and a shorts and a shirt.  I bought so much candy.  Everytime I went to the store, I got about 10.00 worth.  Usually I eat a bunch before but this time I guess I didn't eat any.  Now that is weird.  Trying to reduce I guess..

Its easy to buy candy because everyone's favorite is Reeces Peanut Butter cups.  Of course they are  the most expensive.  So I got tons of those, Kit Kats (in remembrance of  Melanie), Twix, and Cadbury eggs.  I also like the starburst jelly beans although they pulled my crown and tooth out underneath when I was eating them at school.  I need to fix it still.

This is Jack's outfit.  Cool Shark Shirt

Nick's stuff.  He won't like those shorts  Update:  He liked the shorts

Abi outfit.  Doesnt really go together.  She picked out the shirt.  She thought I was buying it for Brooke, but it was really for her.  Doesn't match the shorts much either

This is Andrew's.  He isn't here but I'm sure he won't like this outfit.  We like flamingos, but he isn't much into them.  He is hard to shop for.

Brooke - she picked out this shirt a while ago, Disney of course

Easter is one of those holidays that I really like because it can be how much or how little you want to spend.  A bit of candy (which can be pricy) or clothes or just candy is good.  It doesn't involve a bunch of stuff like Christmas.  Just good old candy and clothes that I would probably buy anyway  And Easter Egg hunts are the best!

This was Brooke after working on Easter at the zoo.  Fell asleep on her phone

Schneiders Riverside golf

2nd tournament of the season for Abi was at Schneiders Riverside Golf Course. It is in Riverdale.

It is a nice course, mostly flat with lots of old trees.  Abi started on the 16th hole. I missed the first hole because I went to get Brooke.  I arrived on the 17th hole just in time to see her THREE shots in the water!!  She picked up on that hole, taking a 10.  The 18th hole was par 3.  She took TWO shots for a Birdie!  It was a fabulous hole.  She ended up with a 99.  First place at Woods Cross.   She also had another Birdie on another hole.  Last year she shot a 112 on this same course.

Good Job.

Here is my partner in crime today.  It was a beautiful day, but a bit cold in the shade and when the golf cart is going.

This was Brooke's favorite part was seeing the Fowl on the course.  There was lots of duck poop too.

Here is another shot of Abi.  The other girl shot a 100.  She was from Viewmont.  The other guy is the coach.

After all that contemplation above, here is her putt shot

This is just a random video of her on a shot

The next girl shot a 108.  I took a pic before her score was posted.

It was a fun tournament today. last time my cart died while in the middle of the course, and the coach had to push me back to the clubhouse.  That didn't happen today so it was a win all around!

Love Aligators

My cousins Allison posted this.  She has no idea how funny this really is!!
