LAX first game for Jack

Jack decided to play LaCrosse this fall.  He has played football and fall baseball.  But we found this league for fall LaCrosse.  He is also playing fall baseball. So far it hasn't been a conflict.  He has had one game and about 3 practices.  He was the goalie in the first game for a while.

This is the first game against Farmington.

This is Nick in the tan shorts and blue shirt.  He is over talking to a sister of a kid on the team.  Her name is Sonny.  Her older brother, Boone is Andrew's friend and Nick is in her orchestra class.  The younger brother, Hank plays on Jacks team.  Fun fact about Nick...

He forgot his cello one day in orchestra (not sure how he forgets it because he uses the school's cello and he has NEVER brought it home), so he said he went and sat by Sonny and talked to her.  So sly.

More of Nick chatting.  She is standing in the stripe shirt.

Sweet Sixteen for Nick

Nick Turned 16 September 3.  I asked him what he wanted for his birthday.  He wanted Cafe Rio and the points you can accumulate for the free meal.  Sly one Nick.  The rule is that if I pay, Nick has to go in and get the Cafe Rio.  Which includes making sure everything is in the bag and get silverwear and napkins.  This time I HAD to go get the food because it was HIS birthday.  I still had to give him the points.  :)

I asked him if he wanted a root beer float.  No, he said he only wanted Cafe Rio.  ok.  He opened his presents, didn't like the shirt and wanted the cash changed to Venmo. Done. I can do that.

Then he says 'well, I gotta go and Facetime a girl'.

That was the end of his Birthday.  He is my favorite.

Jack the new Mower

Grandma's lawn needed mowing.  Nick was too tired to do it. So I decided to do it for him.  Jack decided he would help.  It was his first time mowing the lawn and he did a great job.

I forgot my lawn mowing shoes so I wore Grandpas mowing shoes.  The gross part was I didn't have socks.  YUCK but I would rather mow in these shoes than cut my foot off.  I was wearing flip flops.

Grandma had taken Nick and Jack to get new school shoes.  Here are Jack's Vans.  Nick got some just like that but in black insead. Nick wouldn't pose for a photo.

Here is Nick getting the lawm mower all ready for us to do his job!

These are our new favorite thing, energy balls.  I don't bother making them in balls just in a blob.

Braves in Springville

The Braves sophomore team met up with Springville this week.  It was SUPER hot.  I cannot believe that Nick even survived.  They lost 20 to 7.  Nick did a great job.  He is #70.  He plays on the right side of the center.

McCall decided to join us.  Springville is over an hour away.  But she and Nick were going to the BYU vs Utah football game right after Nick's game so she came down to watch and take him to that game.  It was fun to have her come watch and sweat with me.

Jack also came with me.  He was a good sport to come because I had to check him out of school to get to the game on time.  .  .

Nick got a call from the line coach and asked him if he would be the center.  wow.  We will see how that goes.
