Wonton and Nick and New Washer

 

Abi and Brody were here for a visit.   They saw Wonton and took some pictures.

We took a trip to the cemetary on Memorial Day. This is Stella which is the only pic I got.  But it was fun with Marlena, Michelle, Mark, Stella, Maureen and Paula.

Here's a cool thing my key to my Caddy does.  I didn't know this

Nick had to go to the Neurologist before his mission.  I had to beg and beg to get his appointment so finally we got it.  He got a year of meds and then we can just call for another year.  

AND a new washer.  Add that one to the list of new things I have had to get.  I got a top loader instead of a front loader.  The front loader latch broke and the seal stinks and so I thought lets go back to the top loader washers.  I love it so far. It takes up less room since I didn't have to buy a pedestal.  

Here's me trying to turn off the water.  I am not sure why I thought I needed to turn my own water off and disconnect.  But I turned off the water and couldn't get the hoses off so I left them for Lowe's to take off. They even hauled away the old washer. I love that they deliver, install, and haul away. 

Not sure what else I need to replace but I think the furnace and air conditioner is next.

A Cake

 

My friend, Kenzie, makes cakes.  She broght me one for graduation (Nick's) and because she is my friend.  It was a fabulous chocolate layer cake with that white and chocolate frosting.  

Love it.  She's the best

Nick Officially Graduated

 

Nick was graduating.  It started early at 8:00 am.  Nick had to be there at 7:15 am.  Advantage to that is there was certainly plenty of parking.  I actually liked it early.

He even turned in his gown and got his diploma.  He must have graduated.

We celebrated at JCW's hamburger joint in South Jordan.  It was like on opposite ends of the Wasatch Front.  But everyone was up for it and they had fabulous Cheese Fries.  Nick didn't have to be anywhere until 5:00 that night.  He would even have time for a nap.

We decided to get the shakes too.  They were excellent too

He tried on his gown the night before.  Not a good photo.  He does have on a cool necklace or whatever they are called made out of money.  Holiday Gas Station where he works made those for the seniors.  I thought it was nice and sporty.  He didn't wear it though.

So excited to see where Nick is headed. I do know he is headed to Omaha, Nebraska on a mission.  But who knows where he will end up after graduation.  He will rock it whevever that is.

Look Who Visited Me

 Today, I turned around and look who was in my classroom.  NICK.  This is his friend Laney who I taught a few years ago.  They came over, got permission at the door and brought me this Maverick drink.  LOVE me a Maverick drink.  

What a great surprise!

More Lax

 

This was against WXHS.  This is the last game of the regular season.  I knew a bunch of the kids t WXHS so it was fun to see them play.  Bountiful beat them for sure.  But the WXHS kids sure looked good in their matching before the game wear and shirts.
