Happy Birthday Brooke and a 2nd Dose

 Brooke turned 25 on April 2.  I should have done a post on Facebook (since I'm an old Female and they are the ones that post there) or Instagram or Snapchat...That said 25 years ago this lovely lady came into my life and made me a mama.  And I haven't regretted it at all.  Brooke is the most fun and entertaining girl.  Especially when she let the cat in or Nick's favorite when she makes cat sounds in the car just randomly.   

Brooke choose Cafe Rio for dinner.  Ty brought the First Responder discount and Brooke provided the 5.00 off on your birthday coupon.

Earlier in the Day, Nick and Brooke both got their SECOND dose of Covid 19 Vaccine.  

While we were waiting our 15 minutes in the car, for allergic reactions to show up, they decided they needed a sticker that said they were vaccinated.  They had to walk to the booth to get them.

We also decided to test our golf skills with Michelle at the Driving range.  Michelle found a driver on her ping pong table and decided to use that for the golf.  She did pretty good with it.  

Brooke is a leftie on the golf game.  

Jack decided to come with us.  He has not liked golf.  Maybe he just came for the Maverik drink after...

Spring Break Golf

 Even though we are poor and spring break sucks when you are poor, we decided to go play some golf.

We went to the par 3 since we had Jack who doesn't golf as much and it was later and we thought we could get on at the last minute...

We were right on all accounts.  We did get on at Fore Lakes.

Brooke didn't want to come with us.  

Abi comes to visit

 Abi had a wedding in Bluffdale so she came home for the weekend with her friend Brody.  It happened to be Brody's birthday.  We had Cafe Rio for dinner to celebrate.  I think he is 23...

Did 30 minutes on the stair step.  I thought I would die.  

Played a little golf at Schneider's Riverside.  One of my favorite courses.  Maybe because when I was with Abi and the golf team, the guy in the clubhouse had a bottle of tums under the counter and he gave me a few out of the bottle...:)

Spring Break Sucks When You are Poor

 So, Nick says to me today "Spring Break sucks when you are poor."  His Friends all are in St. George or one of them is in Cancun.  Lots of my kids at school were going to Florida or San Diego.  I want to say "yes, Nick it does suck when you are poor'.   Being Poor sucks.  Absolutely sucks.  

So I ate a Crumbl Cookie to drown out my sorrows about being poor.  . .

Proud Moment against Viewmont

 

Bountiful High played Viewmont.  The game just started, like maybe 5 minutes in, and Nick ended up in the Penalty Box.  He went and talked to his friend and the Ref and coach had to tell him to kneel down in the box...so funny.  

THEN, a few minutes later, Jack totally smashes into this kid AND he is in the box.  Of course Jack said the hit was legal.  

This is what I want for my next golf trip.  Golf AND spa package.

 Jim and Maureen at Yoga.  We just signed up for another session.  I think I'm the only one to get worse and gain weight while taking yoga.  I keep telling myself at least I'm not at a buffet
