Hair Cuts for the Wedding

 

So Jack asked McKenna to cut his hair.  He needed it for the wedding.  I had a picture of him, but it was not a nice pic.  So here is jack and his hair cut.  

So all I can post is McKenna and Brooke with the dogs. . .

Andrew Works at Gma's House

 Andrew graduated in April in Computer something.  He turned down a job somewhere in Chicago and has been working remotely for his Fraternity.  He has set up an office at Gma's house.  

He has quite the set up.  He gets there around 8:30 every day after going to the gym around 5:00 am.  He was smart to set up there because her wifi always works.  It isn't like she is using tons of Band with (or thatever the term is).  AND it is always cool.  Her air conditioning is fabulous.  AND she has a fridge full of Diet Coke. 

He says she tells him when she's leaving.  "Andrew, I'm going to get my hair fixed, or "Andrew I'm going to play cards".  My favorite was she said he got there early and she was in the hallway bathroom naked.  She had to tell him to go in his office and close the door so she could go to her room and get dressed...so funny.  

I asked her how Andrew was doing, and she said well, he is taking a nap.  That is so convenient when you work from home, and have a bed right there.  :)  

I have loved having him home with us.  Other than he is constantly complaining about how hot our house is.  Our air conditioning just can't keep up with this heat.

Gentry Concert

 

One of our Favorite groups is Gentry.  They met at Hale theater 7 years ago and now they have their own singing group.  Anyway, they were performing at The Kenley Ampitheater in Layton so Marlena paid for tickets for Michelle and I go to.  Michelle gets the tickets, Marlena pays and I just tag along.  They are getting their charity work in by taking me.  It was a beautiful night and the concert was outstanding.  Fun time was had by all.  

Got my nails done.  I'll have to get them done again before the wedding..

Trip to the dentist for me.  I love the dentist.  The rest of them go next month.  Summer is busy for teachers getting in all their Dr. Visits...:)  

Duplex work

 

Brooke was working on the duplex so here are some pics from that.  I

She's getting very good at drills.

I did get my air conditioner serviced.  He cleaned it out and it doesn't leak like that.  Not sure why the guy didn't clean it out last time.  But it works so much better now and no leaking.  I also got the furnce filter to come out so I can change it regularly.  Use the cheap filters he says. I'm all about cheap for sure.

Found this snake under the oven that we lost years ago.  Left it for Brooke and she gave it back to me on my pillow.  She thinks she's so funny.

Only One Visit

 

I needed a new furnace filter.  I usually just grab them at Ace Hardware by my house but I was close to Home Depot.  I went in and it was wierd because I haven't been in Home Depot all summer.  Usually I am there EVERY day because I have some painting project going on.  I don't have a project this summer so far.  But I have missed the Home Depot.  

There is always August....
