A Head Scan and a Covid test

 

Jack was insistent that he has Covid.  He was home sick with Covid symptoms and he even sent me a copy of symptoms for covid.  He knew he needed a test.  Ok.  So thats what we did.  Took him to Cope Family Medicine for a test.  You text a number from your car to check in for the test and then they come out to you to give you the nose swab.  

Jack was a bit nervous.  His heart rate was over 100 ...

They swabbed both nostrils and leave them in for 10 seconds each then take one good swab before removing it.  It looked horrible.  But he did it.  He was negative which was good.  I asked them if I should be tested.  They said that if  Jack is negative then they assume that I am negative too.  

Thats what they said in the hospital with Nick.  They just tested Nick and not me.  I like it that way.  

Nick had a follow up with the Neurosurgeon so he got another head CT.  He got the All clear for his head so he doesn't have to go back unless he has other symptoms.  Way to go Nick.  

Bell Canyon again

After Brooke and I headed to Bells Canyon,  Michelle and I went back and decided to go further up past the reservior.  

It was a good hike again and we even added about another mile to going further up past the reservoir.  I didn't go as far as Michelle wanted to.  Thats the usual however.  But it was super fun hike again

A Birthday Hike

 

Since its getting colder outside, the Saturday before my birthday to continue with our Saturday Am hiking tradition Michelle decided it would be fun to walk to the Bountiful Temple from Marlena's house.  Sure.  I agreed to it.  I didn't even know how far it was but I do know, its at the top of this HUGE hill.  

Brooke came with us on this adventure.  She's off work on Saturdays so she has been coming with us.  

We walked around the temple and came across this Shark on the tree .  Holy cow. Jim was in heaven.  

We walked by and someone was coming out of the house and said his dad loved sharks and so they got this shark from Raging Waters when it closed.  I don't remember seeing this shark while swimming there.

After the hike we had Breakfast with Gma from Einstein Bagels.  Our Tradition after hiking.  We allowed Gma to eat with us this time since we ended at her house.  Well and she also paid this time too.  

We also celebrated my birthday with a Buntlet cakes from Nothing Bundt cakes.  What a great way to start my Birthday weekend.  

Birthday 54

 Nov 22 I turned 54.  I came home Saturday night to these gifts and sign and flowers on the table.  Such a fabulous surprise  

Sunday eve Brooke said we were getting Cafe Rio for dinner.  Ok. She ordered it, picked it up and Ty Paid.  So thoughtful.  :)

We had Drumsticks as dessert and she lighted a candle for me to blow out.  And sang Happy Birthday.

I got some M and Ms, Licorish, Red Lobster gift card, Nike Slicks (that are glitter and soo fabulous and were very expensive), and candy canes.

What a fabulous birthday.  Its fun to be remembered and by the people that I love the very most.  

David Archuletta Concert

 

After our Road trip, we went to Costa Vida for dinner before our Concert.

It was a fabulous concert.  The temp was great too.  Fun concert, fun company and beautiful night.  Perfect evening.
