Brooke Arrived

Brooke arrived on Dec 18 from Florida.  We had quite the welcoming group.  The parking was full, but we foraged anyway and found a spot so we could go in the airport and Hug. I didn't want to park in economy parking and shuttle it over in the cold and dark just to hug.   So we were lucky to get a spot.  There were a million people welcoming their missionaries home.  

It is always fun to welcome Brooke home from the Airport.  Jack said he has never been there so he came to expand his experiences.  LOVE that she is here safe and sound.

The next day she comes to my school with Ty, and brings me a coke and some M and M's.  What a fun surprise. 

AND she put up our Christmas tree.  This is our first year with a fake tree that Andrew and I bought on Black Friday.  I kindof like it since it was so easy to put up (because Brooke did it) and now it is put away. I didn't have to haul one from Home Depot alone this year.

Brooke wants some zookeeper pants for Christmas with a pocket for almonds.  I am not sure if these are the right pants, but I did like them.  

Andrew came and went

Andrew came home first from college.  He came home and then left for Florida for a Student Leadership conference.  We ended up at Maverik a few times before he left.

Saturday

We went to the gym...well, Andrew and I went to the gym on Saturday Am. Abi decided she was too tired to go...Andrew as my personal trainer.

We went home and went shopping to Van Heusen and the Traverse Mountain Outlet mall.  We also ended up at Cafe Rio for lunch.  Then Andrew and Abi both had places to go.

                         When I got back on Saturday night, this is who I found asleep in my bed.

Sunday Abi and Andrew both went to church with us.  Yay.  Love having them. Abi played the piano for me in Primary since it was a new song that I didn't have time to learn.

Then we headed to Costco since Andrew wanted to stock up on some Diet Coke to go into finals week.  They needed toilet paper too.

Brooke left Thanksgiving night to head to Disneyworld.  Ty went with her.  Here she is in the matching sweaters!

                         Nick fell down ice skating and 4 days later this is what the ankle looks like...

Black Friday

Started Friday at the Planet Fitness.  Abi and Andrew came to the Planet with me.  And guess who we walks in while we were there. Grandma.  She loves the Planet too. Andrew was my guest and they let Abi in just because she has a membership in St. George.  So nice.  We couldn't use the massage chairs though...:(

Andrew was our Fitness coach helping Gma and Abi with Free weights. I hate the free weights because I am so intimidated by them...

I might need this Cheetah dress in the near future.  I think a wedding at the Zoo and we all wear our favorite animal prints would be good.  Cheetah is my favorite. I think this dress would be great.

Nick got invited to the Girls Choice Christmas Dance.  And their day activity is to go Ice Skating.  We decided Nick had to go ice skating to practice and make sure he can do it for his date. Abi, Jack and Nick decided to go Ice Skating. 

Jack and Abi did great.  Nick fell down on Abi and hurt his Ankle so ended his session early...

                                I am not sure if he will be able to go to his day activity and ice skate..

Here is what it looks like 5 days later.  They postponed the day activity for a few days so hopefully he will be sort of recovered and can walk in without limping.  

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving Day started at Mark's house.  He reserved his Clubhouse since he lives in a condo now.  I had to bring Green Bean Casserole, Mexi Dip and yams.  WHAT?  Yes I had to bring yams. I have never made yams.  I bought these Sweet Potatoes in a can since I had no idea what to do.   People actually ate them, so maybe they were ok.  I looked at them and there were no marshmallows on the top.  I think when someone took the aluminum foil off they took the marshmallows off too...:)

We had a great time.  These are random pictures of people.  We had a great time.

This is Abi's Bingo Prize.  Everyone got a prize for Bingo.  I didn't take many pictures of  Bingo though.
