Fall Break

Fall Break started with a Football  Game in Logan for Nick.  I picked up Gma, left school early, and picked up Jack.  By the time we got gas, and fed jack we were 15 minutes late for the game.  We got there just in time to see Nick taking off his jersey and his football pads.  He put his jersey back on and didn't go in another play. 

He is #70.  Before we got there, he took a hard hit.  And his head hurt.  I don't know if he got a concussion or not, but it didn't sound good and I'm glad he was benched.  I am not sure if it was the coach or Nick who benched him.  But it was a beautiful day and a nice ride and a fun football game.  Other than the injury. 

We did some cleaning over the break (my favorite thing to do) and got rid of two couches that we had.  We took them to the dump.  It was Bountiful's Fall Clean up so we got to the dump and it was free!  Yahoo.  Nick wanted to help me take the couches.  :)

Fireside

Got home from St. George and decided to go to a fireside...

Then I didn't go.  Went somewhere else instead.  Hope I get credit in heaven for trying

St. George Tuacahan

The day after Farmington Football, we left for St. George.  Michelle had two extra tickets for Tuacahan for Sound of Music so we went down.  Jack stayed with Gma because he had LAX on Saturday.

Abi and I went to Tuacahan with Michelle .  Nick stayed at the Hotel and watched TV.  Here we are waiting for the show.  We were seeing Sound of Music.  I have seen it a million times but it was really good and I was pleasantly surprised.

On Saturday Morning, we went over to Tucahan to the Saturday market.  It had some cool stuff that is local.  Lots of Art and bath bombs and jewelery.  I only spent like 15.00 on some CBD cream and bath bombs.  Andrew came over to from Cedar to spend the day.

We  had breakfast at Taco Bell on our way back before swimming. 

Abi and Nick were pretending to be Brooke...She was giving Nick a treat for performing certain tasks...:)

McKenna was also doing the tricks for the licorish treat.  They would make good dolphins...

There is Andrew who came to visit. He soon went upstairs and took a nap,

Andrew took a nap after swimming, then he had to leave...He didn't even want to stay and party with us...we find this post on instagram a while later...

So Cute!  He had a date with this girl for her Sorority social or something like that!  I think he is smiling at her!

We went on a Hike after swimming to he Chuckawalla trail.  It was like a mile trail. and beautiful weather.

We did have one minor problem.  Abi got a bloody nose as soon as we started the hike. She used my shirt as a kleenex and we went the whole Mile trail and turned around.

We had dinner at Cafe Rio and it was 4X the points if you got pork something.  So we had 80 points...of course Abi got them..:)

We had such a great time. It is fun to see my children and party with them and hear about their lives.  Can't wait for next time
