Thanks for staying Mom

Jack and I had an afternoon today.  He texted me that he had a flat tire.  Seriously it was at 1:30 and he was suppose to be in school. Well, come to find out that he hit a curb on the way back from lunch.  He hits the curb every day back from lunch he confessed later in the conversation.

I told him to call Roadside Assistance with the Insurance Company.  Athena, who was parked next to him when he came back with the flat tire, said "hey let's take a look at it".  Then his friend Jaxon was in the parking lot.  He works at Burt Brothers which is conveniently a tire store.  Jaxon changed the tire and put the spare on.  The spare was flat, so they drove to Mason's house and aired it up.  Then he drove to the garage for them to fix it.  

We were talking later in the afternoon with Brooke and Andrew in the kitchen.  And Jack says, "you know mom, I'm glad you were the one that stayed."  Who would have thought.

Abi First Day of Physician Assistant Rotation

 Abi had her first day of Rotation today.  She practiced walking the 20 minutes to the hospital on Sunday.  She was ready.  

I asked her how the walk was and she said she was nervous so Brody dropped her off.  Brody was good and got some first day pictures of Abi.  I love first day pictures.  

She said she was nervous but rocked it the first day.  And she decided to go back for a second day tomorrow

Sad we didn't get to play Timmie's mother in person but  sent her 10.00 to get a treat.  That is the best we could this year.  When we see her next year we will have LOTS of Timmie mother.

Park City Golf

 Andrew and I and some others went to Park City and played golf.  It was absolutely beautiful.  We got there early and the air was cool and crisp and the grass had a bit of  dew.  It warmed up and ended up soo great. 

This is  a picture of the 18th hole.  Those condos in the pic because my parents owned one of them and we came to park city and stayed there a ton.  Such good memories and wish we still had it.  Wish I had played golf when we had it too.

What's up everyone! Hope yall had a Supa hot fire week!! I'm still chillin out here in the middle of nowhere #boonielife 

This week was super good!! We were able to set a few people on date this week. 

We met our friend mckenzy and she has some friends that are members back where she lived so we taught her and set her on date for a couple weeks. Plz pray for her! 

Wednesday we got to eat dinner with a recent convert and we were finally able to get back into their house since they got baptized and were able to hopefully get the whole family back to church! 

Thursday we had 6 lessons but all of them canceled except 1. It was a hype lesson tho and we were able to set Daniel and Wanda on date. Daniel hasn't drank since we taught him the word of wisdom a month ago!! So elect!! 

Saturday we had exchanges with our ZL's I got to go with one of my former companions elder ward! He's so chill and we walked around for like an hour at the end of the night just talking about life and it was such a vibe. Oh also elder Hansen was there too so that was chill too. 

I've been really trying to study charity recently. Especially studying how the savior taught with power but also with charity and loving other while he taught. It's been really cool to see the difference in my teaching as I've come closer to the Savior

Happy Birthday Andrew and Wonton

 

Friday Night we decided to celebrate Andrew 25th birthday.  We decided to go to Scheels and do a swimming thing for Wonton then to dinner at HuHot because it was near the Scheels.  

It also was Won's birthday too.  

Look how fun it looks,  Not. It was a competition not a swmming thing.  So we watched it and Wonton didn't get to swim.  We shopped around instead. We took Won home and ended eating at HuHot for Andrew's birthday dinner.  It was super good and NO pictures.  Dang.  

Later in the weekend we decided to go to the PGA Superstore and look at Drivers for Golf.  Andrew practiced and practiced to decide what kind of new driver he wants.  

We didn't get a chance to celebrate with Duggar Dessert or Open Andrew 's Presents.  Sunday we got Cafe Rio and had the Duggar Dessert.  

This is soooo good.  Andrew got some Mangos, and protein bars, and a Sweatshirt.  What else does someone want?  

Back to SLC

 Saturday we went to the Boston Pier. We looked at the Atlantic Ocean and walked around on the walkway.  It was beautiful and people were picnicing and running and enjoying the sun

Brody and Abi got me this LuLu lemon hat for golf!  The inside comes out so you can wash it.  Love it.  So cool.

We got lunch there and had a Hot Dog and fries and Ty and I decided to get a Lobster Roll. They were everywhere around Boston for like 28.00 and they were 22.00 here on the pier.  Nothing like a pile of Lobster on a Hoagie bun.  When in Rome, do as the Romans do.  The lobster roll was ok but I don't need one next time.  Ty tried 3 different lobster rolls and decided he liked 1 out of 3.  He will probably just stick to Oyster next time.  

It was time to get to the airport.  

Andrew and I flew home together and Brooke and Ty stayed another day.

We arrived aroun 10:00 and McCall picked us up.  

Boston You were fun until we meet again in 12 months.
