21 months:) - Nick's email from Omaha

What's up yall! First of all let me give a shout out to all the moms out there! Especially the G.O.A.T maureen Clemons!

This week was really slow work wise but it went by really fast! Wednesday we taught our guy Donatello homie is absolutely obsessed with Paul and half of what he was saying contradicted Jesus but he said he would read the book of mormon so that's hype

Other than that the only other cool thing that happened this week was that Alexandra came to church and she loved it! Hopefully we can set a date for her to be baptised soon!

The works kinda slow here but I'm still seeing miracles everyday. I hit 21 months last week and that's just so crazy! Time flies when your having fun I guess!

"the Father’s plan is not about roadblocks. It never was; it never will be. Are there things we need to do, commandments to keep, aspects of our natures to change? Yes. But with His grace, those are within our reach, not beyond our grasp." -Elder Kearon

Hope yall are doing well! Reach out if you want I'd love to talk to some of ya! Remember God loves ya!

LAX against the Farmington Phoenix

Thursday was our last Season Game.  It was against Farmington Phoenix.  They are a really good team and have a great record.

Post on Instagram reminding us that it is a LAX game day.  Like we need reminding.

Bountiful had a great game.  Jack played the entire time without any time in the penalty box.

He did go down once and I thought he was hurt but he just said his head hurt and he was dizzy  Seriously, one needs to not play after that.

It was super cold and the game was intense.  Farmington was good.  The game was tied.

We went into overtime.  Then another overtime.  THEN in the last few minutes Bountiful SCORED.  12-11 was the final score.  And it wasn't even a Terry that scored the winning goal.  It was Paul.

Way to go BHS and LAX and Jack.

This is or cheering squad.  Ty and Brooke came to watch AND Grandma was there and I was taking the picture.  This is the best pic of the fans.  Always appreciate anyone coming to watch my children.

AND they made it to the playoffs.  Can't wait for more lax

Monday call from Nick

Nick has called pretty faithfully on Monday nights.  If he is in a good area, he is at the church calling becaues he can use their Wifi and they have played basketball.

Abi, Brooke, Jack, me, and of course Nick were on this week.  We played our favorite game of Rose, Bud, thorn.

Along the call, we shared these pics.

I told Brooke Iiked Ton's hat, and she said which one...I didn't kow which she meant until I saw this one.  Jack said the above bucket hat was the dumbest hat he has ever seen...

Here's the Abi at the Sonic.

The Ton going in the grandma's house

AND Jack with the Ton

Jack submitted this photo

His best Companion

Nick submitted these photos of that Bull . . can't remember what his name was

Then Jack submitted an X ray that he got last week.  He thought he broke his toe.  We needed to call a Toe Truck (hahha) but Dr. Huish said it wasn't broken. That was the best appt because he went after his school and I didn't have to go.  :)  The trainer sent him over.

I wonder if it was part of Turf Toe that he had.:)

I can't wati to get Nick home and hug him.  I know he is excited for that too

No More Fees

After a million years, I have paid  my last fee to the Davis School District.  Here's the proof .  Paid, done, finished.  Yay and a bit sad. I asked for a refund of the 16.00 for the lunch money we haven't used.  It has been in their acct for a few years.  No one seemed to eat school lunch after a while to I passed down the money to the next child.  Jack can't eat school lunch for the rest of the year.  I should prob give it to Grandma for feeding them all at lunchtime.

Heres a hike in NSL that I didn't know about.  Best be getting on that hike.

Time for Senior banquet for Lax and these are the pics Jack wanted to submit.

And here's a good idea for Dog mothers who have a baby.

Clearfield LAX

Another LAX against Clearfield.  I am not sure if we have ever played Clearfield but they were not that good.  It was a cool and crisp night.  (my grandma Stella use to say that all the time).

Jim's the video taker. Choji is Jack's nickname

Here's the cheering squad.  Grandma, Brooke and me.

The score was 20-1.  Jack played about half  of the game and they took him out so the other kids could play.  They should do that more often.  Then towards the end, he went in as LSM midi.  That is where he runs in and off all the time.

Brooke took Grandma to her musical program at the Senior Citizens.  She won this homemade bookmark from the guy in charge.  She loved the program.

Bonnville LAX

Game day against Bonneville.  Bonneville is in Ogden so it is about a 45 minute drive.  I love the Bonneville because there is a Maverick right there before you get to the school so you can use the bathroom and get a drink and a treat.

These good pics are from the Bountiful High Photographer that posted to their facebook acct.  There aren't many of Jack because they had some of the second string guys go in.  The score waa 16-4.  Great game.

Assassin and Ton

Seniors have been participating in a game at the high school called Assassin.  It isn't sponsored by the high school, but the seniors play.  Anyway, the idea is to get a person and have to find them and get them wet with a squirt gun.  And then they are out. Anyway, Jack goes to Dicks for lunch and he almost got out.  Here's the video.

AND its hiking season for hikers.  Here's some great hikes I'm going to look at online....and I might think about going on them.

And our Ton...Jim's favorite dog

Roy Lax

Beautiful night for LAX against Roy.  I have never been to Roy High and couldn't find the field very well. At least they have lights so it sortof helped me get there.

Captains are ready to go!  Jack I think is 3 from the right.

Roy was a pretty good team.  Much better than I thougth they would be.  Bountiful played well and fought to the end.  One kid ejected for fighting (or yelling) not sure. Jack didn't spend anytime in the penalty box this game.

Speaking of yelling, this dude was the one that got kicked out at the game against Northridge.  He yelled "Ref, get a seeing eye dog" and the ref threw him out.  He yelled the seeing eye dog comment this game, but we were on the bleachers so I think the Ref didn't hear him.  Just stop.

Jack hates it when I take pictures of people.  He will never know.

The game was tied at the end so we had a sudden death overtime.  Roy scored so they won.
Bountiful fought hard.

I almost missed the overtime because Grandma had to go to the bathroom.  Ok, so we had to leave.  Conveniently the bathroom was close which I didn't know.  Usually we have to walk forever to the bathroom or go in the school so we got to see the end.

The score was 11-10 for Roy
