Region Golf is the last tournament before State. We were headed to Schneiders Bluff. It started with a shotgun at 8:00 so we were on the road around 6:30 to be there on time.
It is the greatest course. It is beautiful, flat and super green. Here she is over by those trees...too much swing and she hit the tree!

Scores posted! Abi posted her best score!!! Woods Cross took 2nd by ONE stroke. WOO WOO!!
Abi posted a 91 which is FAB!!!
Todays scores were doubled and so she took 10th in the tournament today AND 9th in the overall region score!!!! The Top ten go to STATE!!!! She qualified for STATE all on her own! WAHOO!!
I can't ever get the lighting correct, on the pics she also took ALL Academic State which is for Seniors that also have a GPA of over 3.75!

It was the BEST tournament. Great Weather, GREAT golf and a great partner in the cart with me!! LOVE watching Abi play golf. Fun to see how she has improved and excelled. I haven't even minded the 10 days off of school to watch her!! Nick even decided to get in on the action and come.
He only cost me two drinks, 4 twinkies and my gummy bears.
We had a celebration at CAFE Rio after the tournament to celebrate the win, the top 9, the top 10, State Qualifier, Academic ALL State and just being Abi!!!
